If you really love someone you will not judge them for their looks.
I will not fool you with a pretense
For should we happen to know each other
It is not what you now see but what I have kept from you
That you will keep forever
I will not fool you with a pretense
For I have tried this once
He kissed my face for the pleasure it gave him
To kiss such a pretty thing
But when the fancy frills had worn away
He was disappointed in me
And so he left to find
Another short – lived glory
When she had no more illusion
He was left to the saddest conclusion
He turned around to look for me
To find me already with another man
Who loved me
Not for what I looked like
But for who I am
A lover's worst enemy
Weaknesses weakest defense
Something you should not do if you wish to find love
Pretense
