Like a clawed fist inside me

Clenching and tearing ribbons, slowly and painfully

Draining the life essence from within me

Converging into a thick crimson river

Dripping between my thighs and pooling around my feet

Squeezing... like blood - red lemons holding that red juice

Pouring...

The acrid smell rising and the acid burning my raw flesh

As tattered pieces liquefy

I lay half fainted and gasping

The pain bringing hot tears to my eyes

And as the red hues stain that white linen

Drip...

Between scattered dusk

Where dropped do crimson flowers flourish and bleed?

That was up to me to decide until

My eyes were stolen away as I woke from a broken dream

The mirrored pieces floating around me

I lay there bleeding until I could no longer

I sighed and closed my eyes, relived of the pain

An explosion of red, and I was no more

Until the Broken Cycle of Life begins once again...
