The geometry of the mind is such a perplexing thing
Watching diamonds and triangles
Clicking, spinning
Spirals and spheres
Twisting and conforming into tight spaces
Taking form into plausible ideas
And at other times just fading
Half – shapes crossing, clasping
Colliding and self – reflecting
Mirror imaging, inversing
Right angles and isosceles
Brackets holding pauses
Thrusting forward, crashing into synapses
Explosions of electricity
Hot sparks shower over the edge
When the clockwork of shapes is over,
Unwind, unfold
Break the clasps
Reverse
The geometry of the mind has come to rest
Now it is finished
But it hasn't shown you quite all of it
Yet
