I hear
Their laughter
That I cannot share
Caught in these round nightmarish walls that no one can see through
Eyes judging, scrutinizing the beauty that wished to emerge
As the frustration squeezes my chest
Draws out my screams upwards in smoky dusk
I feel their humanness through the walls
Like a fetus unborn
I lose fragments of my sanity to the thoughts of
What the world holds outside
Each breath collapses upon itself
Clattering, stagnant echoes fading through the gradually vanishing gloom
This state of almost being that I am so about to break
Push again against this shell
Open and awake
