Breezy waves of cloudy foam
Lap upon a porcelain blue shore
The softest hearts can never break
The eye that opened in me
A voice which I listened to in my mind
My time, so precious, fluttered in a glass vial
Fallen from my fingertips, shattered
Flown away
Paisley petals that smell of dust,
Crumbling away in my palm
A silent prayer that was never answered
Tainting thoughts bleed inside of me,
Guilty of my foul words
That drip webs of my blackened curse
Over my teeth, through my lips
The day's ended and I'm still sitting
A mouthful of black with nowhere to spit
Untouched cup of lessons and a cold bowl of grits
