A/N I'm trying to get back into this fic and I just wanted to give y'all a nice happy chapter of everyone just being happy with their friends and also some little snippets of early blackinnon.

"You know what I want to know," Peter said, pointing at me from across the circle we were sitting in. I tilted my head and waited for him to continue. "What did you two even talk about when you first got together?"

The others started to laugh, and I couldn't help but join in.

"Peter is asking the important questions!" Remus added.

"We didn't, really," I said with a laugh. Sirius rubbed my thigh, chuckling along with me.

"How is that possible? What did you even do?" Mary asked. I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Well we didn't really have anything in common, except for shitty parents, so we mostly just made out a lot. I think Sirius was quite disgusted when he realized he was starting to actually listened when I talked."

"I can confirm," James said, a grim expression marring his features. I rolled my eyes at his dramatics before giggling and turning to Sirius.

"Do you remember how weird James got when he found out?"

Sirius barked out a laugh.

"In my defense," James chimed in. "It was the most disgusting thing I had ever seen."

"This room is tainted to me now," I said in a mocking tone.

"It was!"

"It was your living room!" Sirius reminded him.

"Exactly! No one should see something so unnatural in their own home!"

The others were in near hysterics now, Lily hanging off of James's shoulder trying to catch her breath. I tried to suppress my own laugh and failed miserably.

"Jamie, your mom had to ask me why you were being so weird. Don't you think you maybe overreacted?" I asked.

"I still have nightmares," he said, as seriously as he could, before he joined the rest of us with a howling laugh.

I made grabby hands towards Remus and he passed me the joint we were sharing. I took a long drag before breathing the smoke out.

"Remus, why are yours always the best?" I asked dreamily. Remus just shrugged with a sly smile. I passed the joint over to Dorcas before turning back to him. "Get working on the next one, oh master joint roller."

"No, I'm not done with you two yet!" Peter cried. "How did it even happen?"

I looked at Sirius with a small smile, and he just winked at me, content to let me continue fielding questions. I leaned back against him, his hand a grounding warmth on my outer thigh and his breath warm against my hair. I paused for a moment, watching Remus roll the next joint. It looked exactly the same as when the rest of us did it. I shook my head, giving up on cracking his code.

"Okay, so you all know we went on that date the summer before fifth year, after someone decided to punch my date at that barbecue. But like nothing really came of it because—why, Sirius?" I asked genuinely.

"We had literally nothing to talk about other than James," he replied, squeezing my leg slightly.

"Right. But then, there was that night at the park after Fabian and I broke up. And probably nothing would have come of that, but we had nothing to do all break. So we just ended up making out a lot. And then somehow we just ended up a couple, I don't know. We aren't like James and Lily, we were kinda winging it the whole time."
