The sound of a school bell ringing filled the whole building, making every single student sigh out in pure relief, happy to know that the school day has came to an end.
It was the beginning of summer but unfortunately for the students, they didn't have time to go out and enjoy it with all the exams nearing.
"I can't believe I'm staying to study instead of going to the beach" a girl with blackhair that was tied up in a high bun groaned in exasperation while leaning all the way back in her chair.
You looked at her to your left and couldn'thelp but chuckle, knowing that her father was most likely the reason why she had to take after school sessions.
"Becareful Yumi, you might fall back and crack your head" you warned after seeing how far she had gotten. This only made the other laugh out loud.
"That's what I'm hoping for!"
"Hey guys!" Both of you turned to see another student holding loads of books in her arms and making her way over to you two and taking a seat onyour right.
"Hey NaEun!" These two students were your friends ever since starting highschool. Thankfully, no one knew about you outside of the city and you could finally make friends for once without them being scared of you.
It felt amazing to have friends.
Yumi was probably the loudest and most chaotic out of the whole school. She hated learning but she loved hanging out in school.
NaEun was a very sweet girl who loved to study and was a school idol. She was friends witheveryone and loved to help people out.
Then there was you. A little shy here and there and you were okay with school. A little on the plain Jane side but you wanted to keep it that way, better than being an outsider like in your old school.
You told no one about your abilities and you planned to keep it that way.
"Why are you even here, NaEun? Do you even need to study?" Yumi loosened her red tie all the way, hating how hot she felt with it on.
You waited for her to answer, wondering why since she always got amazing grades anyway.
"Well, you guys got low grades last time and Iwanted to help out" she admitted with a smile before sorting out her books. Yumi scoffed at this.
