"Is your name law? Cause I'd like to lay you down"

"What?! It was a fail?!" One of the twins yelled at Chief Kim who stood at the foot of their gurney.

You along with Jimin and Taehyung stood at the entrance of the room like you had been instructed to by the chief of surgery.

The surgery was a fail but at least they were able to keep them alive.

Shouldn't they be grateful?

Says the person who doesn't have a conjoined twin.

...touché.

"There were complications that we couldn't foresee in the planning. However, thanks to these three, we were able to keep you both alive" Namjoon gestured to you three where you awkwardly sent a smile their way.

"You promised that we would be separated!"

"You should have kept us that way!" Namjoon sighed internally at their outbursts. Looking over at their parents who stood idly by, Chief Kim redirected his focus on them.

"We can still try and find a way to separate them. Although, they may need a pace maker to help their hearts get stronger" he suggested.

The mother shook her head.

"You shouldn't be asking me. You should be asking them"

But they're minors?

They should have the right to decide what to do with their bodies, right?

...i guess you're right.

"I'll do whatever it takes to get away from her!" The twin on the left spat while glaring at her sister.

"Like wise!" They seem to really hate each other which wasn't that odd with siblings but they should also be loving each other as sisters should.

Yet, you had yet to see them be so nice and the way that they are trying to be separated, it feels like its more than just wanting to fix their bodies.

"I'll be off then. If you need anything, please call one of the nurses" Chief Kim bowed slightly at the parents before turning around and gesturing for you three to follow him out.

Without complaining, the three of you left the room and awaited further instructions outside.

"You may all return back to your normal schedule. Thank you for your help today" after bowing your goodbyes, you were about to leave with Taehyung and Jimin until you felt someone grab the hem of yoir sleeve.

"Except you, Y/N. Can I have a word?"

"Err, yeah...sure" you gulped nervously. You watched as the older crossed his arms and made sure that the twins' room door was closed before speaking.

"I just wanted to ask how you knew about their hearts before the machines did?"

Oh no

Oh no, indeed. How are you going to get out of this one, Y/N?

"...the signs were pretty clear?"

"How? What signs gave it away?" You mentally groaned in annoyance.

"I... I can't really say... I notice the signs without even realising it. My eyes just work like that" hopefully he wouldn't urge you to carry on.

"..." he stayed silent as he scanned your eyes with his. His intense gaze made you hold your breath.

"...you impress me everyday, Doctor L/N. Perhaps we should continue our conversation from before over dinner tonight?"

...what?

Yeah, what?! Is he asking you out right now?!

Is he?! No way! He's literally my boss and I'm way out of his league!

Then why does he want to get to know you more? Especially over dinner?!

I don't know!

"...Doctor L/N?" That's when you realised that you were silent for a while now and you cleared your throat out of embarrassment.

"Ahem- err, sure! That sounds super fun!"

Super fun? You're going to dinner with your boss and you say that it sounds super fun?!

Shut up! I panicked!

Namjoon gave you a toothy smile before reaching in to his pocket for a notebook and pen and proceeded to write away.

Intrigued as to what he was writing, you tried to lean forward to get a sneek peek until he was done, making you return back to your original stance.

"Meet me here at 7. I'll see you later, Doctor L/N" he left after sending you a cheeky wink.

Frozen in shock, you looked down at the note that he placed in your hand which displayed the address of the restaurant you assumed.

Before you could process what just happened, you felt someone take the note out of your hands and making you look up at the culprit.

"You're trying to seduce Chief Kim now?" Of course Taehyung would stick around to geg in to your business yet again.

"Give it back" he raised a brow in amusement.

"Not denying it? Have you finally showed your true colours?" You rolled your eyes at this before reaching over to take your note back but unfortunately, he dodged.

"Stop being such a jerk and give it!"

"You think I'm going to let you go and meet up with Chief Kim so you can trick and use him? Everyone here may fall for your tricks but not me, Y/N" that's it.

You pulled your leg back and used all your force to kick his shin.

That would have been great if he didn't just take the kick so easily and you hurting your foot instead.

"Ow!" You yelped. It felt like you had kicked a car. Taehyung laughed at you.

"Pfft, haha! Resulting to violence? Wow, you're really something-" before he could carry on, he felt the note in his hand leave, making him and you turn to see who had done it.

"Stop troubling Doctor L/N, Taehyung" Doctor Jung warned before handing over the note back to you. Your lips curved to a smirk as you mocked Docter Kim who huffed out in annoyance.

"She's the one troubling me. Don't fall for her tricks, hyung. Who knows, you may already be under her spell" and with one last glare from the brunette, he left you two alone.

"Tsk tsk, will that boy ever change" Hoseok crossed his arms at the retreating male.

"Have you known Taehyung for long?" It was strange, it was as if they knew each other as more than just colleagues.

"Hm? We went to the same university and I was his senior. He was much worse in university but I helped him out a little to be a little more considerate" he explained.

They went to the same school together? Taehyung was much worse?

You couldn't even imagine.

"Anyway, let's finish the day with a good feeling and help some patients so that you can go on your date all smiley" you blushed at his words as you watched him walk off in the other direction.

Shaking your head of the thoughts, you ran after him.

"It's not a date!"

"Mhm, whatever makes you sleep at night~"
