"You are so hot, you denature my proteins!"

It was as if the whole hospital was another world right after the surgery.

The news of the twins being safe and sound quickly spread across the building and not long until the news found out about it too. It made headlines in a matter of minutes and Asclepius was getting more recognition around the world.

Of course, the surgical team was mentioned, especially the Doctor who had came up with the solution last minute.

"Congratulations, Doctor Kim!"

"Amazing work!" A few patients and nurses who were walking by couldn't help but congratulate the brilliant male who managed to salvage the surgery and made a big name for himself. His chest was puffed out and his nose was held high but most importantly, he had a wide smile on his face.

Taehyung looked so different, he was like a cute puppy who was getting a lot of love.

Finally, things were looking bright for him.

"TaeTae!" The mentioned Doctor turned to see Jimin and Jin waving at him while jogging their way over, happy that he has saved the twins.

"Look at you! All smiley and happy" Jin pointed out, chuckling at the fact that he was loving the spotlight.

"I can't believe you took lead on your first surgery! You better watch out when I take your place soon, though" Jimin challenged while crossing his arms, already feeling pumped to do better and hopefully get picked next time.

Taehyung raised a brow in amusement.

"You beating me? In your dreams!" Before either of them could reply, a nurse had called for both Jimin and Jin about a patient of theirs who needed urgent care and they had no choice but to say goodbye to their fellow doctor.

Namjoon had given Taehyung time off after the surgery since he had deserved it. The doctor took the offer with gratitude since time off was a luxury thing in this line of work and he could go work out now.

First, he needed to change out of his uniform.

The changing rooms were only down the hallway so he wouldn't need to travel far and it wouldn't be long until he leaves.

Yet, he had wondered where you were.

You weren't with the other doctors watching from above and you were no where to be seen outside the surgery ward. He thought perhaps that you didn't want to get shouted at by Doctor Min about the last minute change.

Strangely, he really wanted to see you and tell you that the surgery was successful.

Shaking his head of the weird thoughts, he briskly made his way to the empty changing rooms where he didn't waste any time in opening his locker and getting out of his uniform.

His legs were a bit sore from standing up for so long during the surgery, he definitely needed to brush up on his exercises more.

Sitting down on the bench behind him, he reached down to take his shoes off and pull up his blue hospital trousers to take a look at his sore legs.

Well, technically...

Suddenly, the doorway to the changing rooms revealed a very solemn looking you, clearly defeated from the unfruitful search in Namjoon's office.

You quickly got out of there before anyone would notice and to be honest, you were worried if Taehyung had told everyone already about your abilities and the fact that you were a fake doctor.
