"Let's go to my place for some under-cover work~"

"Would you like ketchup?" Jin asked from the kitchen of your apartment while wearing a blue apron and leaning back to get a glimpse of you and your mother who were sitting at the dining table.

Your eyes never left his figure as he cooked dinner for everyone and you just couldn't believe it.

"Yes, please" your mother answered for you as she sat at the head of the wooden table and making sure to send smiles towards the male's way.

Jin smiled in confirmation before continuing to set the plates.

After finding out that the doctor was now you're new house mate, you immediately demanded for an explanation.

Turns out, Jin was a regular at your mother's old job (the super market) and after finding out that your mother was not able to work anymore, he couldn't just do nothing to help.

So, your mother offered him to stay at the extra room and he could pay a small fee for the rent.

You were still unsure of the relationship they had since no customer would just move in to a stranger's house.

It could only mean one thing.

He has an ulterior motive.

After he was done with the plates, he came over with the tray of food and proceeded to place them on the table.

While he was doing this, he couldn't help but feel death glares coming at him from you which only made him feel uneasy.

"Thank you so much for this, Seokjin. You honestly don't need to cook for us" your mother expressed her gratitude as he sat down after removing his apron.

He was currently wearing a simple white shirt with black shorts that reached his knees and his hair was slick back from the shower he had.

He was indeed a handsome man.

But he may be a handsome man who's tricking your innocent mother.

"It's the least I can do with such cheap rent you're offering" it made no sense, he was doctor for Ascelpius' sake! He would surely have his pockets filled with money.

Squinting your eyes at him, you didn't even dare to taste the food in front of you. Who knows what kind of person prepared it... but it did look delicious.

Instinctively, you licked your lips at the savoury meal which in turn made the male across from you chuckle.

The sound brought you back to reality and not a second later did your cheeks heat up from embarrassment.

"So, you're Mrs. L/N's daughter?" He placed his elbows on the table before leaning closer to get a better look st your features.

"I- ahem... yes, I am" feeling that your throat was getting dry, you reached over to drink the glass of water.

"...and the chosen one?" And just like that, you spat your drink all over the floor beside you in shock.

"Good heavens, Y/N! I'll go get the towels" your mother quickly stood up and left to the bathroom to get the mentioned towels.

You used your wrist to wipe off the excess water around your lips before whipping your head towards the dark haired male sitting ever so smugly.

"...don't tell me... you actually believed my mother?!" If what you said is true, this all could make sense.

Perhaps he was intrigued in your abilities and also wanted you to become a doctor but, you were already a doctor...

Does he have other intentions?

"Of course I don't but it's always great to listen to her stories of you" tilting your head in confusion, you were left with more questions than answers.

"...stories?"

"Mhm. Stories of you saving people with your 'abilities' sent from above. She must think you're skills are a god send" he explained before tucking in to his meal.

Your mother was telling strangers about your abilities? You definitely need to have a talk with her later.

"Yeah... I guess..." you were somewhat relieved to hear that your secret was still safe or else it could have ended badly.

Well, that's what you thought anyway.

"...so tell me the real reason why you're living with us? I'm sure you're minted and can get your own house" the older was unfazed by your words as he continued to eat his dinner.

"I'm not 'minted' at all. I donate half of my earnings to the hospital because they need it more than I do" after explaining, he looked up with serious eyes, as if to say that he was disappointed that you had saw him like that.

"O-oh...well, why are you here then? Just get a cheap apartment all to yourself" you suggested, still not seeing the big picture that Jin had painted in his mind. The other smiled before standing up and walking over to your side, making you wary of what he was going to do.

"Well, I wanted a little change in my life and I wanted to meet Mrs. L/N's daughter that she oh so adores. Which also reminds me..." all of a sudden, he placed his hands on either side of the chair you were sitting on and leaned in close to look in to your eyes. You could feel his hot breath fan your face as he proceeded to say the next line.

"What's a nineteen year old business college student doing in a hospital pretending to be a doctor?"

Oh no...

"I've got the towels!" Both of you looked over to see your mum running in with the mentiond towels before you looked back at a sweet smiling Jin.

"I'll help clean!"
