"I wanna stick to you like glue-cose!"

The surgery had gone on for about two hours now with the pacemakers now in place attached to both hearts.
Now that part was done, it came down to the most tricky part of the surgery – separating the two girls again.
The last time they did this, everything went sideways and if it weren't for you overwatching the surgery, who knows how it could have went.
However, last time they didn't have Taehyung in the room and helping them. Hopefully that would change things for the better.
"Ready for the incision?" Chief Kim asked aloud while looking over at the heart monitor to see that the pacemakers were doing their job just fine but that might change soon if they weren't careful.
Everyone in the room tensed up at his words, realising that the next step was what would determine whether the surgery would be successful or not. Taehyung breathed in and out to calm his nerves but he had done amazingly so far – no mistakes, no mess, no deaths.
He wanted to keep it that way.
Once everyone nodded yes, Namjoon then proceeded to start separating the twins carefully, making sure that everything was perfect.
Of course he was precise, he was the best in the hospital afterall.
Everyone watched in anticipation, even Jin who had joined late on the viewing deck with the rest of the doctors who came to watch just to see how it would go.
His fear of the surgery room was still too much for him and it was already hard just by looking over them but, he wanted to be here to give support when needed.
To him, the surgery looked to be going exceptionally well with no hiccups.
Suddenly, the doors of the viewing deck opened to reveal newcomers to watch the surgery also but since every doctor was too fixated on the surgery, Jin was the only one to have notice them.
His eyes widened in shock when he did.
A group of business men and women (around five) came inside and stood to the side to watch the surgery too. Jin knew them all too well – the investors.
Or rather, future investors.
If the surgery was to be successful. They really came to watch with their own eyes. He couldn't fray away and he hoped that none of the doctors operating on the twins would notice them too. They didn't need anymore pressure than what they had now.
With that in mind, he looked back down to see that the twins were separated finally and the doctors were on standby as they watched the heart monitor in front of them. The air was thick with suspense as everyone hoped- begged that it was alright to finish the surgery.
Seconds went by.
Minutes.
Everything seemed to be just fine.
Namjoon smiled under his mask before turning to see his team.
"Well done guys, start closing the bodies up-"
"BPM unstable!" A nurse called out once she noticed the change on the monitor. Now on high alert, the doctors noticed that the heart rates were going down.
The pacemakers weren't strong enough.
"...Doctor Min, start pumping the hearts with me, Doctor Jung we need more O+ blood bags, Doctor Kim go start charging up the defibrillator" Taehyung watched as everyone began to rush themselves to save the twins with Namjoon and Yoongi reaching into the bodies and using their hands to make the hearts beat for now while the team prepare to reattach the girls.
He couldn't process that the surgery had taken such a turn, he was for sure everything was right.
Now it was a matter of keeping them alive.
___
"I wonder how the surgery is going" you pondered aloud while looking through the many draws in the desk for anything unusual.
To be honest, you were starting to get worried if you made the right choice. Then again, you were a nervous wreck and Taehyung’s skills were amazing.
You had faith that he would do his very best to succeed.
Stop worrying and just focus.
"You know, you've been very bossy recently. You still haven't even told me what you are exactly" what was inside your head this whole time? It seemed as though they knew more than you.
There was no response strangely enough and it only made you chuckle.
"Of course you'd also keep secrets from me too. At least you're quiet now"
I told you, it would only just confuse you.
"I'm already confused, what difference would it make?" Sighing once again, you were beginning to feel tired and lose hope with all of this.
Looking up at the time, you saw that it was nearing noon and that there really wasn't going to be any time left if you continued to sit and do nothing.
Then again, what if there was nothing in this room to find?
After pulling out the desk chair, you plopped yourself on it and got a new perspective of what Namjoon would see everyday.
The desk faced the door and the windows were on his right, letting the sun light inside.
Looking down at the desk, there were stationary, papers, documents and just normal desk things.
And a framed photo of Namjoon and the chairman of the hospital. You remembered asking him about it as you found the man familiar. You couldn't quite put your finger on it but you guessed you saw him from the news or whatever.
Now that you thought about it, you also remembered Namjoon mentioning how his life changed on that day of him becoming chief of surgery.
You also guessed that it was because he got the role.
Puffing your cheeks out of boredom, you leaned back in to the office chair after putting down the frame to swivel round to face the shelves behind you.
"...should I stop?"
