"Step out of the vehicle. Walk a straight line into my life!"

After the short break of eating pizza and talking with Yoongi, the rest of the day went by as normal.

Well, as normal as it can be for any doctor.

"You sure you don't need me to drop you off?" You and Doctor Min were in front of the hospital with you in your normal clothes and getting ready to head home.

"I'll be just fine! Besides, I don't want to have an affair with your car while I'm going out with Mr. Bus" you joked, earning a eye roll from the blonde male.

"You should be dating Mr. Walk instead. Remember the healthy regime?" Instantly, you wanted to get out of there.

"Would you look at the time? It's already 5:37PM! Gotta dash!" And without uttering another word, you ran off towards the bus stop and didn't bother to look back at the disapproving doctor.

"Tsk tsk tsk, what am I going to do with her" and after allowing a sigh to escape his lips, he retreated back inside to continue working.

-----------------45 minutes later----------------

"Tch, healthy regime? Who does he think I am?" you chuckled spitefully as you waltzed down your street while eating a bar of chocolate and holding a bag of many more snacks.

"My body, my rules~" you sang before taking another bite of your sweet chocolate.

As you continued your soothing journey to your apartment, you didn't notice a hooded figure jogging past you and towards your apartment complex.

"Where is my drink?" You mumbled while scavenging for your really unhealthy beverage.

The sky was getting dark soon and since there was hardly any street lights around, it was proven difficult to even see the path in front of you.

Giving up on finding your drink in the sea of snacks, you decided to hasten your steps to get home sooner.

Well, that would have been fine if it wasn't for the stranger blocking the staircase leading up to your apartment.

"...excuse me? Can I get past?" The hooded figure finally turned around to see you standing there with your bag of snacks. Not only that, but he had recognised your face by the looks of things.

"...Doctor L/N?" You tilted your head in confusion.

"...yes? Who are you?" Perhaps it was one of the patients you met before but, you knew everyone who lived in this building.

Finally, the male stranger removed his hood to reveal his handsome face and for some reason, he looked familiar.

"It's me, Doctor Kim"

...who?

Scrunching your brows in deep thought, you tried to remind yourself of the many doctors you have met this past week. That's when your memories clicked into place.

"Oh! Doctor Kim- you're that gullible doctor- oops!" You instantly realised your mistake before clasping your mouth shut with your free hand.

Instead of getting told off, you were hearing chuckles coming from the male in front of you.

"You definitely outsmarted me that day" unsure if you should laugh with him or not, you stayed quiet and changed the subject.

"...so, what are you doing here?" The older raised a brow in suspicion.

"I just moved here today... what are you doing here?" His reason made sense since you had been working all day to have noticed any moving trucks come by.

"I live here, too! Why? Did you think I was following you home or something?" You laughed out while making the other roll his eyes.

"It's happened many times before so I wouldn't be surprised..." he muttered under his breath, quiet enough for you to hear. Awkward silence filled the night air around you and before you could let it get any worse, you cleared your throat.

"Ahem, err... I need to get past..." the Doctor then realised the situation he was in and proceeded to step aside.

"Sorry..." not wanting to stay any longer with the unfamiliar male, you swiftly walked up the many stairs to reach the fourth floor.

However, with every floor you past, footsteps kept following you.

Don't tell me he lives on the same floor..., you hoped as you went past the third floor but was unfortunate to hear footsteps still following you, making you groan in annoyance.

It wasn't the fact that the gullible doctor would be neighbours with you but more so the fact that he may bump in to your mother.

Which was the worst thing that could happen.

Finally, you reached the last floor and began taking your keys out as did the other behind you.

Deciding to not make a fuss over which apartment he was living in, you continued your journey to the last door... but why did you still hear footsteps?

"Alright, you don't actually live here, do you? Doctor Min told you to keep an eye on me, right? Or even worse, Chief Kim has put you up to this!" This made the older jolt in surprise, wondering what you had just blabbered out so suddenly.

"What? No, I really do live here- and why would anyone ask me to keep an eye on you?" He grew suspicious at this.

Before you could say anything, your door opened up to reveal your mother still wearing pyjamas from this morning.

"Seokjin! I couldn't help but hear your voice- Y/N?" Your wide eyes lingered on your mother, trying to process her peculiar words that left her mouth.

...did she just say his name?

"How do you know...?" Jin was also confused, wondering why she knew you.

"This is my apartment... and this is my mother" you stated suggestively, wanting him to explain himself as soon as possible.

"Ah right! I forgot to tell you, this is Kim Seokjin. He is the new tenant staying in the extra bed room"

"What?!"
