"...what do I even wear?!"

"Volume!"

"Sorry, Mum!" You yelled from your bedroom while staring at your wardrobe in disarray.

After getting home from the hospital and searching of the restaurant that Chief Kim wrote down, you found out that it was a very expensive restaurant.

Meaning, you needed to also dress expensive.

"But I don't have any expensive outfits!" You huffed before falling back on to your bed in discontent.

The thought of wanting to impress Namjoon tonight was all you could think of. It was best to make him think good of you rather than bad and suspicious of you.

Yet, you had no clothes that could match up to that.

I guess all you could really do is wear a simple dress.

"Prom dress it is" you sighed before getting to your feet and began rummaging through the hangers for your prom dress.

It was only a simple navy blue dress that reached up to your knees. Not being able to afford for anything fancy, it was the best you could get at your budget at the time.

Once you found it and slipped right in to it, you looked at yourself in the body mirror beside your door.

"...whatever, it's not like it's a date or anything. Just colleagues getting to know each other"

Uhuh, suuuuure.

Oh shut up.

Ignoring the voice in your head, you grabbed your purse and your coat before stepping out of your room.

Coincidentally, a specific tenant of yours was passing by in the hallway at the same time. His eyes drawn to your outfit almost instantly and he wondered where you were going.

"Got a date?" He teased while holding his towel over his shoulder. It was evident that he had just finished his shower.

"It's not a date!" You exclaimed in irritation before marching past him and towards the front door.

"If it's not a date, are you going to a wedding then?" He continued, liking the way he annoyed you so.

"I'm just going out to have dinner with Chief Kim! Now leave me alone" you ushered the doctor to leave you be and in response, Jin tilted his head in confusion.

"Namjoon? He told me he was going out of town..." ignoring his words, you grabbed the door open and stuck your tongue at the older before leaving.

It was nearing 7PM and thankfully, the restaurant was only a ten minute cab ride. However, it was already dark outside so you'd have to be careful.

After hailing a cab from the main road and trying to reapply a little bit of makeup during the bumpy journey, you finally arrived at your destination.
