"Did we go to school together? I swear we had chemistry"

"...so... no car?" You asked after slumping your shoulders and shaking from the vibration of the bus.

"...no...I err... don't have the funds..." Jin replied shyly while looking out of the window and at the darkly lit city.

It was currently nearing 9PM.

Which in your mother's eyes was late.

You actually didn't know how many times she called since your phone was damaged after jumping in the river today.

I guess you'll have to wait for your first pay check to get a new phone.

Fortunately for you, Jin and your mother were close enough to have exchanged phone numbers and was able to inform her of what happened today.

Well, not really.

For her health, he lied saying that you had to work overtime with him.

Which you were very thankful for.

"...you must be starving, you haven't eaten at all today" the older asked out of concern while looking down at your granola bar in your hand that was given to you by Yoongi.

In truth, it wasn't much but you weren't far from home so it didn't really matter.

"I'll be fine. Once we get home, I'm going to eat like Jesus after he got resurrected" you chuckled out, trying to lighten the mood but once you heard no laughter back, you glanced up to see a frown plastered on his handsome face.

"You shouldn't be joking around about your health like this. You could have died today" the bus went over a bump a little too fast, almost making you fly off but thanks to Jin's quick reflexes, he had managed to hold you back and keep you at bay.

"Woah! That was a close one..." you laughed nervously but the older was still not amused.

"Be more careful" why was he angry at you like this? Shouldn't you be the one angry at him for not believing you in the first place?

"Whatever. I'm walking the rest of the way there" it was only two stops away and you could handle walking the distance. Plus, you wanted some time alone to think.

However, you were stopped by a grab of a hand.

"What? We don't have that far left-"

"I know! That's why I said I'm getting off" you yanked your arm away and not a second later did you run off and waited for the doors to open for you to finally escape the bus.

You would have carried on alone in to the dark streets if it weren't for the persistent male running after you.

"Y/N! Stop running!" Like you were going to listen to him after all that happened.

"No way! As if I'd-... listen...to-" you were suddenly feeling dizzy and gravity seemed a lot stronger than before but just as you were about to hit the cold ground with a harsh thud, a pair of arms had caught you just in time.

"Y/N!"

"...jesus? Is that you?"

"This is no time to joke around! Tch-..." he knew he couldn't get angry at you in this state and he had no choice but to put you on his back and carry you home like this.

"Mmmm...warm" you yawned out while snuggling closer to Jin's back. To be honest, you were too tired to think about what you were doing and after all the stress from this week, you kind of needed this feeling.

The feeling of not being alone.

"...why did she risk her life for someone she didn't even know" the doctor mumbled while fixing his hold on you and continuing his journey to take you home.

"...I did know her" you corrected him, closing your eyes from straining them open for too long.

Taken aback, Jin was unsure if he had heard correctly.

"You know her? How?" It took awhile for you to respond back.

"...I saw myself in her...I knew what she was feeling... and I already knew what she wanted"

"...what did she want?" He urged on.

"...she wanted someone to respond back when she called out for help" the male was confused at this. Were you delusional as well?

"I don't understand" however, he was only met by little snores and he knew that sleep had taken over you.

He sighed.

"You're one strange girl" with one last glance at your head laying on his shoulder, he followed on back home.
