After staying with Chief Kim the whole morning and following him around the hospital to check on a few patients, it was time for a well deserved lunch break.

"Doctor Jung, are you okay? You look really tired" you asked after sitting beside him at the cafeteria table with your lunch tray.

The chestnut haired male looked up from his food and sent a tired smile your way.

"Yeah I'm fine. It's just, those twins are quite a handful..." images of him dancing for their entertainment and to keep them happy filled his mind, making him shiver uncomfortably.

Pursing your lips in to a frown, you couldn't even imagine what must have happened to him.

Soon after, four trays appeared around you as the owners sat down along with you two to enjoy their lunch break.

"Wow, I haven't seen you like this since the time Chief Kim broke your solar powered desk flower" Yoongi pointed out as he sat beside you with Taehyung sitting quietly across from him.

"It was a gift! Of course I was sad!" Hoseok defended.

"You literally had eleven more on the desk" Jin spoke up after sitting across from you and beside Taehyung and Jimin who sat beside him.

This was the first time you saw Jin since last night. He looked fairly normal and nothing like what he was yesterday. You really wanted to know why he was like that but, were you close enough to ask such things?

"Baby girl, you should be looking at me" Jimin's voice caught your attention as you looked away from Jin and at the pink haired male instead who was wiggling his brows at you flirtatiously.

Not long after did his expression change to a painful one after feeling your foot collide with his shin under the table.

"Ow!"

"What did I say about calling me that?"

"What about sweet cheeks?" Your eyes glared daggers at him while he pretended to dodge the knives coming at him.

"You two, stop messing around. The twin's surgery is right after lunch and Chief Kim has allowed you three to watch" Yoongi warned before digging in to his meal, trying not to glare at Jimin to back off with his bold names for you.

"Wait, really?" Taehyung asked in clear shock, not believing that he would see such a complicated surgery that every doctor would wish to have.

"Yes. Doctor Min, Chief Kim and I are leading the surgery" Hoseok clarified, now excited for the upcoming surgery.

"Aren't you going to join, Doctor Kim?" Everyone at the table became silent. You, along with Taehyung and Jimin, were confused at the sudden change of mood.

"...I have a patient to see. Bye" and with that, Jin left with his tray and proceeded to leave the cafeteria without looking back once.

Your shoulders slumped and you were itching to know what he was hiding.

"...did I say something wrong?" Doctor Park asked after looking back at everyone.

"It's not your fault, Doctor Park... Doctor Kim isn't involved in surgeries anymore" Hoseok explained with a sad smile.

"Anymore? What happened?" You urged for him to carry on. The chestnut haired doctor looked skeptical as he tried to decide whether he should tell you or not.

"...it's not my reason to tell" just in that moment, the cafeteria speakers went off.

"Doctor Jung and Doctor Min, please make your way to the surgery room"

"Well, it was a short break but let's go" Doctor Min gestured for everyone to finish up and prepare to leave.

While everyone was busy putting away their trays, you wasted no time in running over to Yoongi.

"Psst! Hey! What about me?" This confused the older who had finished emptying his tray in the bin.

"What about you?" You rolled your eyes before carrying on.

"How am I going to escape this surgery?"

"Pfft, don't worry, you're not going to be any where near the surgical room. You're going to be watching it up above with the other two" he was about to head off when you grabbed his arm to stop him.

"What do you mean?! I don't want to see the surgery, full stop!" You whisper/yelled at him.

This amused the honey blonde male.

"Wow, don't tell me... that you're squeamish?"

"Did you forget about the worm infested foot patient? And how I couldn't stop vomiting?"

"It was actually maggots but I see your point. Can't you just hold it in? An open body isn't that gross" he stated nonchalantly as if it was the norm.

"Are you two coming?" Hoseok called at the cafeteria doors.

"Yeah, we're coming! Look, just close your eyes or something. It's not that bad" without waiting for your response, he made his way out.

"Wha- I can't do that- YOONGI!"

"CALL ME DOCTOR MIN YOU DAMN WOMAN!"
