"Haha! 'There's something wrong with her adrenal glands'- pfft, that was the funniest thing I've heard in a while!" Jimin mocked you while doubling over in laughter.
While following Doctor Min all morning, you mostly stayed quiet while observing. You felt discouraged by all the information and you were wondering if Yoongi had done it on purpose.
Now that it was midday, it meant you could go on your lunch break along with the other two.
Embarrassing was an understatement.
"Shut up... I'm not having a good morning" you mumbled before biting in to your cheese sandwich angrily.
The brunette next to you clicked his tongue in amusement, reminding you that he was still being very sour with you ever since you met him.
"Got a problem with me?" You scowled, making sure to show Doctor Kim that you weren't going to let him treat you this way for no reason.
"Not after this morning's occurrences, so no, I don't have a problem with you" he answered smugly before taking a bite of his salad wrap.
"What? What do you mean by that?" The brunette rolled his eyes in response.
"I thought you were this special doctor and that's why you were getting special treatment. But now I know it's because you're dumb" You held your breath in shock.
Did he just call me dumb?!
"I'm not dumb! I was just having a slow morning!"
"Really? Then prove it by answering Doctor Min's next question about the patient" he challenged while leaning closer to you to antagonise you.
Not wanting to seem like you were not confident, you also got closer and glared daggers at him.
"I will!" The both of you continued your stare down until you heard Jimin fake cough nervously beside you.
"Guys *cough* Chief Kim *cough*" almost immediately, you and Taehyung whipped your heads towards Jimin who was pointing behind you and making you turn the other way.
Standing right there was the Chief of surgery, Kim Namjoon.
"C-Chief Kim!" Taehyung stammered, feeling a sense of honour to meet his role model so soon within the week.
You, however, were a nervous wreck as you hoped you weren't in trouble or even worse, caught red handed.
"I wanted to come and see how the new doctors were holding up. I can see a healthy rivalry brewing between you all. Keep up the good work" and with that, he left along with his cup of coffee.
Letting out a breath that you didn't know you were holding in, you were relieved to hear that you weren't in any trouble.
"Woah...Chief Kim..." Taehyung breathed out while allowing his eyes to follow after the impressive Doctor.
