"I'll replace the schedule with a new one later tonight so keep an eye out for those. You may all return back to your stations" the nurses bowed slightly before leaving Doctor Min at the reception area.
He had been busy trying to sort out the nurses' new schedule since the A&E was short of them for the time being.
Putting the tablet away in the reception desk, Yoongi looked around for you as it had been awhile since he left you with the two surgeons.
His eyes scanned the A&E ward until they landed on the familiar Kim Taehyung.
"Where is Y/N?" Yoongi asked after making his way over to the brunette who was busy checking a patient's blood pressure.
"Who?"
"Ah, I mean Doctor L/N..." it was going to take some time to get used to calling you that. Taehyung rolled his eyes before continuing to take down the blood pressure.
"I saw Chief Kim take them to his office. He probably caught them in the act" he replied venomously, reminding himself of the image of when he was walking past and saw Jimin leaning against the glass with you beneathe him.
Yoongi's heart stopped.
"C-Caught in the act?!" He stammered. This confused Taehyung when he heard his supervisor sound so worried for someone that was not even a patient.
Yoongi had thought that you and your abilities had been found out.
"...I need to go" and just like that, the Pulmonologist dashed off towards the Chief of surgery's office.
The general surgeon allowed his eyes to follow after the older, feeling a sense of annoyance fill him.
He had yet to know you but, he knew that you would be getting special treatment from Doctor Min. Which meant that he would have to work even harder to be better than you.
Fortunately for the blonde doctor, Chief Kim's office was located near the A&E ward and next to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit).
"Damn it damn it damn it!" He cursed under his breath as he pushed past nurses and doctors in the hallway.
Not only would you two get in trouble - but Yoongi could get fired.
There was no way he was going to stop being a doctor in Asclepius.
The office came in to view but the walls weren't made of glass like most of the other offices and he couldn't tell what was going on inside.
Without knocking, Doctor Min barged through the door, out of breath and searching for you.

The sudden noise made everyone in the room turn to see Yoongi at the entrance.
You were standing with your hands together in front of you along with Jimin who was doing the same thing.
At the desk was none other than the Chief of surgery, Kim Namjoon.
"Doctor Min?" Jimin called out in confusion while you too looked perplexed.
The blonde male scanned everyone's faces and concluded that you and Jimin were in the middle of apologising while getting scolded at by Chief Kim.
"Doctor Min, why are you-" Namjoon stopped as he watched the older come forward and suddenly bow deeply.
The other two males widened their eyes in pure shock while you stood there in a pool of confusion.
"Please forgive me! It is all my fault- I shouldn't have made the decision to let this happen!"

"...Doctor Min... why are you apologising?" Chief Kim urged for the older to explain himself, still fazed by the sudden bow.
"It was all my idea... please, just forgive me this one time" he pleaded. Namjoon had never seen the Pulmonologist like this before and he had worked with him for awhile now.
"...it was your idea... for them to be acting inappropriately inside a lift?" Yoongi froze.
...what?
"...what? Lift?" Straightening his body, Doctor Min looked back at you and Jimin in confusion.
That's when you realised that the older must have thought that you had been caught.
"...Yeah! You must regret your decision to have left me with Doctor Park... right, Doctor Min?" You tried to hint at the male to follow along with your lie and thankfully he was smart enough to do just that.
"...yes! I should have picked a decent human being to show Y/N- Doctor L/N around"
"Hey! I'm right here!" Namjoon darted his eyes to everyone in the room with a thoughtful expression before finally speaking up.
"I'll let it go this time but if this happens again, I will have a serious talk with you two"
"What?! But I did nothing! He was the one who was trying to get in my pants!"
"Wowww, way to throw me under the bus like that!"
"Doctor Park, leave and return back to your station, we'll talk about your habits later. Doctor Min, stay along with Doctor L/N. I need to have a word with the both of you" gulping nervously, you wondered what he could want with the both of you.
Only one thing came to mind.
"...fine" Jimin sighed before leaving the room while scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment.
After hearing the door close behind you, Chief Kim proceeded with his questioning.
"So, might I ask why do we have an extra general surgeon among us?" And there he goes. Looking over to Yoongi, you hoped that he had an explanation of some sort.
"Sorry for not informing you sooner but she had just started today. She is a family friend of mine and she had signed up a bit late... her mother was very persistent"
nice one, Doctor Min. Hopefully that will be enough to let you go unnoticed, you thought.
"You already know that I trust your judgement and that I'm sure Doctor L/N is an exceptional Doctor according to your high standards but, a late sign up is still not acceptable-"
"Give her a chance!" Namjoon was shocked to see the blonde male interrupt him. This was very strange behaviour coming from Doctor Min.
"I promise you, she will beat your record of identifying patients' problems in a week" you choked on your saliva.
What?! What record?!
The silver haired male raised his brows in astonishment. Namjoon was well know for his high IQ and he held a record for the most successful cases of helping patients identify their problems when other doctors and hospitals couldn't. You must be extraordinary in Yoongi's eyes, which meant that your skills were not to be joked upon.
"Doctor Min! I couldn't possibly beat his record-... what's his record?"
"Sixty-seven"
"Sixty-seven?!" You had to help sixty-eight patients to beat Chief Kim.
"...alright, I'll give you a week starting tomorrow"
