"Hey, is there a Ms. L/N here?"
"Let me have a look" you had finally arrived to the hospital just a few minutes ago. The ride wasn't long since you were only twenty minutes away by car.
"Ah, she's in the A&E ward"
"Thankyou" making your leave, you began heading towards the Accidents and Emergencies ward.
You were familiar with the hospital since you would frequently come for the sake of your mother.
She had bad asthma at times, enough to hinder her daily life and work.
As you walked through the maze like hallways, you had managed to find the A&E with many people who had injuries and were in a emergency.
You could pretty much see all the patients with the exception that thick blue curtains gave them some sort of privacy from the neighbouring patients.
There were also many nurses and a few doctors up and about, helping the people as best as they could.
"Y/N! Over here!" A hand rose up from the busy room and your eyes trailed to the familiar woman that you called Mum.
Sighing in relief, you made your way through the busy room and made it to the other side where your mother was sat on one of the hospital beds.
"It's good to see you, Mum. You had me worried" you quickly scanned her body with your gifted eyes and saw that it was mainly just her bronchioles (tubes in her lungs) that were bright red.
"You shouldn't have came, what about work?" You mother asked with a worried tone.
"I told them it was an emergency so I'm sure they'll understand" you reassured. It was then that the nurse came by and interrupted your conversation.
"Are you family?" The nurse asked whilst gesturing to you.
"She's my daughter" your mother answered in your stead.
"Great! I will call the doctor who you had before to see if you can go home" both of you nodded in thanks before returning to your conversation after the nurse had left.
"Oh that's right! The doctor who helped me before was really young and handsome! If you found a boyfriend like him, I would-"
"Mum! You can't just fantasise about your doctor like that!" You interjected, making her chuckle as you did so.
"I'm just teasing, any man who will have you as his girlfriend will be the luckiest guy on earth. Afterall, you are the chosen one" and there she goes again, you thought.
