Ch.47 By His Side

GIA'S POV.

"Okay" the doctor starts to say taking off his glasses.

"Daniel is going to be alright, his heart rate is back to normal and the surgery went fine we're transferring him to a room right now" the doctor tells us.

I feel like my heart is about to pop out of my chest and I sigh a breath of relief and so does everyone else.

"When can we see him??" Regina asks.

"In about 15 minutes, but although he got the blood transfusion he lost a tremendous amount of blood so he's going to be asleep for the next couple of hours" the doctor says.

"Oh okay, thank you so much doctor" Regina tells him.

I can see how relieved she is.

"No problem, he's very lucky he shouldn't have survived that, no one would have, I'll have a nurse come get you once he's in his room" the doctor says then smiles and walks away.

"Fuck man thank god" Reks says shaking his head.

We wait until a nurse comes and gets us then we walk through the halls to Daniels room.

He's laying in bed shirtless.

He has wires all over him and bandages over all 9 of his stab wounds.

He looks like he has some of his color back.

He doesn't look pale and flushed.

We walk over to him and just look at him for a second.

"You boys should go home, thank you for everything" Regina says to Reks, Psycho, and Gio.

They smile at her then begin to walk out.

"Text me later when he wakes up" Reks says to me.

I smile and nod.

I text Manny to come pick me up and I'll explain everything later.

Of course he got worried as soon as I said I'm at the hospital so he said he's on his way.

"Umm, I'm gonna go too my brothers picking me up I'm just gonna change though and come back" I tell Regina and Angelo.

"Okay mija" she says nodding.

I squeeze Daniels hand then walk out.

People that are here keep looking at me.

Probably cause i look like I'm going to a party but someone splatter blood on me.

I sigh and walk outside.

When I do I see Manny's car quickly pull up.

I walk up to in and get in.

"What the fuck happened?! Why are you covered in blood are you alright what happened??" He quickly asks as I get in.

"Me, Daniel, Shy, Reks, and Gio went to a party last night, Chino was there, he went up to Daniel because of when you guys jumped Kevin, Chino swung, Daniel swung back, so Chino stabbed him, 9 times" I explain.

"Shut the fuck up" Manny says in shock.

I suck in my lips and nod.

"He just got out of surgery and he's okay now, I just wanted to go home and change so I can come back" I tell him.

"You look fuckin' tired you should go to sleep" he says.

"No I need to come back Daniel hasn't woke up yet" I tell him.
