Ch.35 Held

GIA'S POV.

Tonight we're gonna BBQ for Victors birthday.

He didn't wanna do anything big he just wants to BBQ and get drunk with his homies.

I was up later than usual last night so when I do wake up it's 1:30.

I would've slept more but Yvette woke me up.

"Mija wake up" she says nudging me.

I groan and roll on my stomach.

"What time is it?" I yawn.

"It's already gonna be 2 come on you need to get up and get ready so you can go with me to pick up Victor's cake" she tells me as she places a plate of bacon and eggs on the dresser.

"Take Giselle with you tia" I whine sitting up.

"She's in the shower come on get ready hurry" she says.

I roll my eyes.

I get up and sit on the floor in front of Giselle's mirror and start doing my makeup.

When that's done I straighten my hair and leave my bangs swept to the side.

Then I change into a pair of high waisted jean shorts, a white crop/tube top, a thin knitted light gray cardigan that fits very loosely, and knee high gladiator sandals.

When I'm done Giselle comes into her room already ready.

"You look cute, with your little bump" I compliment her.

She's wearing a sun dress so it shows a lot more.

"Thanks" she says.

I leave her room and go downstairs.

"Tia!" I yell at the top of my lungs just to mess with her.

"Hold on!" She yells from the downstairs bathroom.

"Get the keys from your tio!" She tells me.

I go to the backyard guessing my tio Carlos is out there since I can smell BBQ and hear male voices talking and loud music.

But when I pop up in the door way Carlos isn't there just a few of his homies and a few of Victors homies.

It instantly goes awkwardly quiet and they look at me and look my up and down.

"Do you know where Carlos is at?" I ask them.

"Him and Victor went to the liquor store down the street real quick" one if them says.

But before I could say anything I spot Yvette's keys on the table.

So I walk down the middle of all those guys as they say nothing and just fuckin stare at my ass and grab my tia's keys.

Don't get me they're all cute but Victor and my uncles would KILL me if I ever crossed that line.

Even though I have.

When I was 16 I had sex with one of my uncles homies, he was 20.

I still see him around, he even comes to family events but it ain't nothing.

With him, it was just sex.

I go back inside and see Yvette come out of the bathroom.

"You got the keys? Where's your tio?" She asks. "Yup" I reply tossing them to her.

"And his friends said him and Victor went to the liquor store really quick" I tell her.

"Oh just his friends are outside?" She asks. I nod.
