Ch.36 Oh Love

GIA'S POV

I'm gonna kick it with Daniel again tonight and then after go party with my girls.

So I start getting ready because before I even kick it with anyone I have to go to my office because I left my wallet there and just remembered this morning.

I do my makeup then curl my hair.

When I'm done I change into an all black romper, a thin long sleeve jean jacket, and black sandals to match.

I grab my purse and car keys and leave the house.

I drive to my office so I can get my wallet.

I park in the empty parking lot and get off.

I take out my keys and unlock the front doors.

It's so creepy being here at night all alone instead of during the day when it's full of noise and laughs.

I grab my wallet from my desk and walk out.

As I go out I lock the doors and when I turn around someone calls me.

"Hey" a male voice says.

My head shoots up and I instantly get nervous cause I immediately recognize the face.

It's fuckin Ricky.

"What are you doing here?? I thought, you were locked up" I say quietly.

"I was, I got released 2 days ago, I've been looking for you, I went to your house but no one was there, I didn't know you moved into a new house" he tells me.

"Um yeah um, how did you know I was here?" I ask scrunching my eyebrows.

"I took a wild guess maybe you were working tonight" he says taking a step closer to me but I take a step back.

He chuckles.

"What's up? You ain't happy to see me? Oh wait, i know why, i last heard you have a boyfriend, Gunner?" He says with a smirk.

I bite the inside of my cheek and cross my arms.

"I WAS with him, until he put his hands on me just like you did, and no, I'm not happy to see you? Why? You put some girl into the hospital after hitting her in the head and pushing her out the car, surprised you never did that to me" I say then walk past him.

Grabs my arm but I yank it out of his grip.

"Don't, touch me, just, leave me alone Ricky" I say quickly walking towards my car.

I open my car door but he pushes it back closed.

"Look baby girl, I don't want that ass anymore, that's not why I've been looking for you, just thought I'd let you know to watch your back" he says.

I look at him.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

He smirks.

"You'll see" he says then walks away.

I quickly get in my car and wait for Ricky to leave first.

When he's out of sight I try to keep him out of mind.

I don't know what that was about and I don't care.

Ricky's always tried being a threat to me.

I text Daniel to let him know I'm on my way to his house and drive there.

I only went to his house once and that's when I dropped him off after Gio's party that one night.

It's one of the few really big luxurious looking house's in the hood.
