DANIEL'S POV.

I'm at the warehouse making sure all of my drugs are packaged and ready to go.

Sometimes it ain't easy doing this shit, running the whole drug operation, especially without my pops, but it pays my moms bills and that's all I care about.

Once I know everything is good and where I want it to be I drive back home.

As soon as I step into the house the smell of my moms cooking fills my lungs so I go straight to the kitchen.

"God damn what are you making?" I ask my mom Regina.

"Rice, beans, carne Asada, salad, and I just finished the tamales" she says.

"Y tu where have you been all morning eh??" She asks.

"I was working" I say grabbing a beer from the fridge.

"mmHmm better not be getting into more trouble travieso" she tells me.

My moms real laid back.

She's loud as fuck and crazy and I fucking love her to death.

She's always let me and my brother do what we want but made sure we did good too you know?

"Hey Sleepy and Osvaldo are on their way" my moms boyfriend Rico says.

"Oh okay!" My mom replies.

They've been together for about 10 years.

He's a good guy to my mom and that's all I'm worried about when it comes to him.

Otherwise I'd have to beat his ass.

Sleepy, but his actual name is Dixon, and Osvaldo are my uncles.

Straight OG cholo's.

They're my dad, Michael's, brothers.

He had another brother Uberto, but he was shot and killed a few years back.

Even though they're my DAD's brothers they're always around and they still make sure me, my brother, and my mom are good.

They always have.

Especially since my mom don't have any brothers or sisters.

They're like her brothers.

"I'm gonna go change" I say to my mom as I go to my room.

I put on a all white t-shirt, black jeans, and a pair of Jordan's and a SnapBack.

"Hiiii!!!!" I hear a loud female voice say from the kitchen as I spray some cologne.

I already know who it is.

I see my tio Sleepy, his wife Sandra, and their daughters Yesica, Reyna, and Karina, which are my cousins.

"Hi Daniel!" Yesica says giving me a hug.

Then Reyna and Karina.

Yesica and Reyna are both 21 cause they're twins but look nothing alike.

And Reyna is 19.

They're my cousins but these 3 girls are exactly like my sisters.

They're extremely protective of me and I'm extremely protective of them.

"What's up" I say to them and my aunt and uncle.

"Yo where's Osvaldo?" my brother Angelo asks.

"He's on his way that foo texted me saying he got pulled over and I wasn't gonna wait up for him" Sleepy says laughing.

"Alright sit down we're gonna eat as soon as he gets here" my mom tells all of us.
