GIA'S POV.
I have no idea why Ricky and Stacy talked on the phone.
For the past 5 days I have been contemplating whether or not I should call Ricky and ask him.
I've talked to Shy about it since I'm still not talking to my brother and family but Shy doesn't think I should cause she doesn't like Ricky.
Plus the last time I saw him he threatened me telling me to watch my back.
So that put up a red flag for the both of us.
But I need to find Stacy.
I pick up my phone and dial Ricky's number.
Extremely nervous the whole time.
"What's up Gia" he answers giving me goose bumps and not the good kind.
"Um hi um, I was wondering um, cause I've been trying to help Stacy's parents find her and I was just wondering if you know anything or something" I ask.
I don't really want him to know that I saw his number on her phone.
"Why would you think I know something?" He asks suspiciously.
"I don't know I'm asking everyone um, I'm just tryna find her Ricky" I say with a sigh.
He pauses.
"I don't know shit about your home girl I never even talked to her" he says casually.
I suck in my lips.
He's lying.
"Are you sure??" I ask trying to sound innocent.
"Yeah I'm fuckin' sure".
He always did have a short temper.
"Well um, I saw on her phone that you talked to her on the phone for a minute before she was kidnapped" I tell him.
He says nothing.
"So do you know anything?" I ask but it's still quiet.
"Hello??".
He hung up.
I purse my lips.
He knows something but I don't know what it is.
But I work today so I have to start getting ready.
I do my makeup then put my hair into a high ponytail.
I change into a black muscle shirt with a black leather jacket, ripped skinny jeans, and a pair of UGGS.
It's raining today so I want to be comfortable.
When I'm done I grab my purse and keys and drive to my office.
I don't have much work to do but I decide to spend the whole time trying to figure out how I can find Stacy.
I spend two hours on my lap too trying to hack into the surveillance camera outside of her job.
Breaking firewalls and codes, half the time I don't even know what the fuck I'm doing.
But I'm able to do it.
I click on the video with the date she was taken.
I fast forward it around the time of the kidnapping and watch.
I see a car pull up to the curb and park there but no one gets out.
I fast forward a little more and thirty minutes later Stacy pops up.
