I hope you enjoyed Bad Connection! Keep in mind, it's currently unedited, so the possibility of it being a little different in the future is high.
The entire idea of this book was to not give it the stereotypical ending where Emmi and Mason somehow come back together despite how toxic the situation was, I enjoy those books too but I find them a little awkward to think back on, especially when you're telling a friend about them.
I wanted Emmi to get what she deserved at the end, which was freedom from the things she had in her hometown.
HOWEVER, that town doesn't end there!
Bad Connection is the first part of the series called Small Town. You don't have to read them all in order, you can make sense of them without the rest of the books being read. They're all from the same time frame in the same town! And it might not be your last time seeing some of the characters mentioned in this book!
