What did that mean? I had no part? No part in what? Does that mean my sisters are dying and I won't? I don't know. Moriarty was always so confusing. I couldn't tell Annika, or she would go after him to kill the criminal mastermind first. I couldn't tell Alyss or she would put us under lockdown before we could do anything. What else could I do?
I shoved the note in my bag and started to run down the sidewalk back to Molly's house. I could see Toby in the window just waiting for me to open the door so he could pounce on me.
I heard the clap of heals on the roof once I got inside. And Annika was gone. I backed away to the living room and it went black.
