This story takes place in Animal Crossing New Leaf. When I first wrote this fanfic, I wrote Y/n with the pronouns She/Her. I apologize for not being inclusive, I wasn't a very experienced writer at the time of beginning this fanfic.

Just in case you are here for hardcore smut, I hate to disappoint, but there will be no vigorous scenes. Although the fanfic might include a side of sexual intimacy, I will not be going into deep detail. 

I do not want to waste anybody's time. I know many of you are writers and have your own head canons for Tom Nook. I wrote Tom Nook as a shy and soft-spoken character who is easily flustered because that is how I like to perceive him. If you feel uncomfortable with reading my version of Nook, I hope you will change your mind and stay. For those who enjoy reading romances between an oblivious y/n × a love-struck character, then this might be the fanfic for you.

The story still has some spelling and grammar mistakes, and I apologize. My upload schedule is still all over the place, so chapters take a long time to release. I may also be on a lot of hiatuses due to having a life outside of writing. 

Still, I know this isn't the best fanfic I have ever written, but the number of people who genuinely enjoy my work makes me more than grateful! 

I intended this book to be more like a slice-of-life show than a quick read. Although a lot of the lore is messed around and played with, I will make sure to go and change the details that don't make sense. 

I also started revising my old fan fiction chapters, so the ones that are labeled as 'revised' mean that minor details have been fixed and changed. It also means it's less likely to have grammar uses and spelling mistakes. (This doesn't mean that they are perfect. If you notice mistakes, please comment on them or DM me, so I can fix them.) 

I appreciate the patience with my older chapters. They might be harder to read and have wordier sentences. Expect some chapters to be slightly confusing and have many more mistakes than others. 

I try to upload as fast as I can, leading me to sometimes publish the drafts instead of the finished product. Meaning, some chapters are more badly written than others. I do plan on fixing all of them in my own time, but for now, enjoy the show.
