Isabelle and Digby walk through T/N on a late snowy evening. Both were wrapped in fluffy sweaters as they strolled next to a lake that was starting to freeze. "So, how was your day at work, Digby? I heard you finally got with Lottie!"

"It's been great! I feel different around her every time we talk, though. Now that we are well, getting to know each other, everything has been tenser... I feel shyer than before, and it's awkward but lovely, mostly awkward... Sometimes I feel like I can spend my whole life with her, but other times I wonder if we will even last that long, we are just so different. I didn't think it would be this hard to date someone... Mr. Nook and Ms. Y/n make it look so easy..." Digby sighs.

"Oh don't say that. I mean it might look easy now but remember that time when Mr. Nook shrunk to the size of a pear? It was impossible to get him to admit his feelings for Y/n! He was too shy and embarrassed to even talk to her. And don't even get me started on Ms. Y/n! She is the densest person I've ever met when it comes to love. Every time Mr. Nook would even look at her his body completely lost control, and she didn't even notice, it was painful to watch!" Isabelle giggled.

Digby chuckles, "You're right, I remember now. I guess our serious boss is kind of a softie on the inside..."

"And our mayor is a big goofball, despite her charming appearance!" Isabelle nods.

Digby laughs, "Yeah, I can't believe how well they interact now. To be honest, I was a little worried it wouldn't work out. I mean, they are just so different!"

"Yes, but I've noticed that as time passes by, people change. I mean, look at them now, they live a happy life together. Mr. Nook couldn't even look her in the eye at first, but now he can't help but hug her every time he sees her. And Y/n used to question his feelings towards her, and now she seems to read him like a book! I don't think you should worry if you and Lottie go far. I think you should just enjoy her while you can, and the rest of the story will write itself." Isabelle says as she looks up at the stars.

Digby smiles warmly and hugs his sister, "Thanks, sis..."

Isabelle grins and hugs him back. She picks a batch of flowers from the ground and hands them to Digby. "How about you go give these to her, I bet she'll really appreciate it!" she winks.

Digby blushed. "You think so? Alright then! Thanks again, Isa! Love you, bye!" Digby waves as he runs to the train station. Isabelle waves back at him, "Love you too, Digs!"

She sighs and continues walking around town. She passed by your house, your lights were all on. "Ms. Y/n seems to be home, I should pay a visit before going back home for the day." She nods to herself.

Isabelle knocks on the door. The lights suddenly flick off, she raises her eyebrow. "Or maybe not?"

The doorknob shakes a little, and you finally open the door. "Ah! Isabelle! What are you doing in T/n so late? Shouldn't you be at home?" You say trying to fix your messy hair.

"I'm just strolling through town right now. I came to check on you and the rest, say where are the nooklings?" Isabelle peeks behind you.

You cover her view, "They are still at work, you see. They get out much later than we do, but Nook and I are going to pick them up in a few minutes."

"Oh, alright. Can I come in?" Isabelle tries to step in but you gently close the door a little.

"Um- Actually, Tom Nook is asleep right now, I wouldn't want to wake him up." You nod.

Isabelle tilts her head, "Really? But I just saw that the living room lights were on before I-"

"Hey! So what are you doing for Christmas? It's a few weeks away, after all!" You interrupted her.
