Tiny Tom

"I think I know what happened!" I say as I slam my hand on the table. "Really? What caused this Ms. Y/n!?" Lyle eagerly stood up. "Come, follow me and I'll show you!" I say as I make my way to where I last encountered Wisp. Lyle ran close behind me holding Tom with his two paws.

"Hmm, I swear I saw him here!" I looked around, but I couldn't seem to find the lamp. "Are you looking for me?" I heard a voice come out of nowhere. "Wisp? Are you there?" I seemed to hear him but I couldn't seem to see him. He then suddenly popped right in front of us!

 "Looking for me?" Wisp twirled. "Yes! Please explain what happened here!" I point over to Nook in distress. "Well you said to physically show you who was in love with you, so I did!" Wisp smiled innocently.

"This is not what I meant! I mean- wait..." I looked back at Tom whose face was deep red. "Oh ho ho! It seems ol' Nook has been caught! Guess you can't hide it now can ya' Tom? " Lyle laughed smugly. This couldn't be... Tom and I- No way! A cranky salesman like him couldn't possibly have any feelings! "Reeeal funny Wisp... But seriously, I asked you to show me who like-likes me" I wasn't buying the whole Tom Nook thing, it just didn't seem true. "But Y/n... I would never joke around with an important wish like that. If I'm correct, the targeted person was someone who was emotionally, physically, and sexually attracted to you!" Wisp continued.  "OH HO HO HO This is too funny!!!" Lyle bursts out laughing. Tom Nook frowned at Lyle, his face and ears hot red. "I-I don't understand..." I turn back to Wisp. "Well, you'll find out soon!" Wisp suddenly twirled back into the lamp and disappeared! I turned back at Lyle and Nook. There's no way! No!       I refuse to believe some random ghost that appeared outta nowhere! I'm used to seeing Lyle tease Nook all the time! This is probably all a big joke. 

"Sigh, what a weird guy huh? Whose name is Wisp anyway!" I chuckled trying to brush this whole thing off. "Well, Ms.Y/n... I don't know! Maybe the Ghost isn't as far from the truth as you think he is!" Lyle sneered. Tom then angrily nudged him. "Oh no, I don't trust that Ghost one bit!" I scoffed. "Well whether you believe it or not, just keep in mind Tom Nook is now incredibly small! What are we going to do?" Lyle asked, looking at Tom, who seemed very mad at Lyle. "Well... I don't know! I don't think Tom can go about his normal life as small as he is right now.." There was no way we were just going to leave Tom without helping him. "I have an idea! How about you take care of Tom while he is in this state? You were the one who wished after all!" Lyle said as he handed me Tom Nook.  "W-what? me!?" I exclaimed as I held Tom in my hands. "Ms. Y/n is right Lyle, you cannot just throw all this responsibility on her!" Tom shouted furiously. "Well, Mr.Nook, it's kinda also your fault. I mean this would've never happened if you would have just TOLD her from the start!" Lyle smirked. Tom's face flushed red.  "Ho, ho, ho! Mr. Nook, I do believe you're blushing!" Lyle laughed mockingly. "Let's just stop all this making fun... Its obvious Wisp made a mistake so let's just get over with today shall we?" I was starting to blush a little myself too, Lyle has a way to really get to you sometimes... "Alrighty! Well, It seems it's time for me to go close the shop for today. I'll see you two tomorrow!" Lyle waved back as he left the Nooks Home's store. 

"Well, I guess we should really get going Mr. Nook, I apologize for all this trouble.." I  looked down at him embarrassed. "I-Its quite alright Ms. Y/n..." Nook replied. "We should be picking Timmy and Tommy up from their store. I mean, what will they think if they don't see you home?" 

"Yes, yes. We really should make our way to T&T Mart" 

"Alright then, let's go!" I said as I cradled him in my arms and ran to the store outlets.
