A talk with The Able Sisters

After explaining....

"Wow Tom that's awful! What an honest mistake..." Mabel looks over to Sable. "Yes, how horrible..." Sable frowned. "Well... The spell... Wasn't really a mistake..." Nook sighed. "What do you mean, Tom? You don't actually- " Mabel pauses. Nook blushed a little. "WHAT!?" Mabel exclaimed "Hush now Mabel! Ms. Y/n isn't too far away..." Sable looks over at you. You seemed to be too distracted to notice. "Oooh so when's the wedding!?" Mabel pokes. Sable frowned at Mabel. "Oh, how come you never told us this Tom? We can surely help!" Sable tilted her head. "It's just... I don't think she has the same feelings for me..." Nook looked down. "Oh well you don't know that. You just have to spend more time with her that's all, soon she'll give you signals." Sable replied. "Oh but what if she doesn't... What if she just doesn't feel the same way?" Nook said worriedly. "There's only one way to find out.." Sable hinted. "Propose!" Mabel suggested excitedly. "No!" Sable huffed. "You aren't suggesting-" Nook flushed. "Confess your feelings to her, Tom. That's the only way you can truly know.." Sable looks up at you. You were busy deciding between two shirts. "Well... I-.... Sigh..." Nook at you worriedly. "That being said, can I pleaseee be a bridesmaid! Oh pleaseee!" Mabel pleaded. "Mabel!" Sable scowled. 

"Hey, you three! I'm back. I'd like to buy this!" You set the clothes on the counter. "Ah, of course! Just a sec!" Mabel runs up to you. You pay for the clothes and run back home. 

Tom's POV

I thought deeply about what Sable said... Confess to Y/n.... 

No.... I couldn't.... I just couldn't bring myself to do it... 

I sighed....

"Why so gloomy Nook?" Ms. Y/n looked down at me, we were both coming back from the Able sisters and on our way back to her house. "Oh nothing at all Ms. Y/n!" I fake smiled. She tilted her head and walked slower. "What were you talking with the Able Sisters?" She stared straight ahead. "Oh it was nothing! Really..." I hesitated. "Well you know I'll be here if you need to talk!" Y/n smiled. I couldn't hold in the urge... " Y/n... I-I wanted to really speak to you about something actually..." I felt my heart beat faster by every word. "What's that Mr. Nook?" She looked down to me locking me into her deep e/c eyes.... I immediately felt my my stomach twist a bit. "I have been wanting to say this for a long time... And well... Ms. Y/n... I-" I stop as I felt a big knot in my throat. Y/n looks at me with big sparkling eyes. "I-" I then was abruptly interrupted by a big splash! Me and Y/n were drenched in mud as we see Pete fly by. "Oops sorry Miss! Speedy delivery!" Pete shouted as he flew off. 

Y/n's POV 

I blinked and frowned. "Watch where you're going!" I shout as I spit some dirt out that had gotten in my mouth. I nodded and started to walk faster. "Oh sorry, so what were you saying Nook?" I looked over at Nook who was also covered in mud. "Oh ah- Um- Nothing..." Nook smiled. I blinked puzzledly. "A-are you sure?" I ask. He nods. Hm... I thought... I thought he actually wanted to tell me something, I mean... He made it sound so important... Oh well I guess... 

We finally make it home where I quickly stepped in the bathroom and turned on the shower. I got clothes and some towels. "Here, you can go wash off quickly! I'll wait over here and wait my turn!" I say as I lead him into the bathroom. "O-of course.." He said as he entered the bathroom.  It wasn't till I heard a little yelp where I let myself in and saw Nook had fallen. "Oh are you alright!?" I help him up. "Yes- OH DEAR!" He covered himself. I almost forgot- he was naked. I covered my eyes quickly, my face embarrassed. "Oh I'm really sorry! Please continue!" I was about to run out until "WAIT-" he yelled. I looked back and then quickly averted my gaze to the floor. "I- Need help... Reaching the soap.." He points upwards to the where I kept my shampoo and body wash. "Oh yeah sure I'll just..." I scoot to the tub where I took the bottle of soap and handed it to him as I kept my eyes closed. He took it as I made my way out. But the second I walk out I hear another cry! I turned to see Nook had squirt the shampoo in his face! I quickly took the towel and washed it off. "I-Im so sorry Y/n! I seem to be really clumsy at this height, I'm usually not like this!" He  apologized. "It's alright! Don't worry, but I don't want anything worse to happen though..." I couldn't leave Nook here by himself... I thought for a bit. "Oh I have a better idea!" I quickly turn off the shower and turn on the faucet. I let the tub fill as I quickly changed into a sports bra and a bikini bottom. I then entered the restroom again. I saw Nook flush red as I turned off the faucet of the tub. I felt a bit awkward from the water being clear and being able to see through.... So I drizzled some bubble bath into the tub. 

"I hope you don't mind..." I say as I slowly sit in the tub. "N-NOT AT ALL" Nook spattered as he looked away. I playfully blow bubbles at his face, he laughs. I then suddenly see him trip a little, I rapidly reach out to catch him. It felt less less uncomfortable when I couldn't really tell if he was nude from all the bubble bath. I giggle a little. "Be careful" I say as I gently dab some soap on his head. He chuckled nervously. 

Tom's POV 

I couldn't really tell if I was having a dream or not... But never has my mind wandered this far to the situation I would be sitting in a tub with Y/n... I was glad there was so many bubbles, or I wouldn't have been able to hide my flustered face! She begins to soothingly massage my head as she then runs her hands down to my cheeks that she squished gently, she then moved up to my ears and lightly scrubbed them. I felt my body become weaker, and my face get hotter. I looked away from Ms. Y/n... Just her smile made me weak in my knees, but her touch and her grasp on my face... I felt as if my soul had left my body-  

Y/n's POV

How can a Tanuki be so soft? Maybe it was the conditioner but his soapy fur was so silky I was just so tempted to brush my hands against his cheeks. I smiled a little and kept on massaging his face gently. I then noticed he held my hand with his little paw. I took his paw as I feel my heart  explode! He had paw beansss!!! "Nook! Y-your paws! They're so...Squish!" I couldn't find the words to express how cute it was! My face brightened as I squish his tiny paws. His face glowed red as he looked to the side avoiding eye contact. I looked over at him and gave a half smile. He then turned to me, a gleam in his deep blue eyes made my stomach scramble a bit. What was this funny feeling? Did Tom Nook feel this too? Maybe I'm just sick that's all... Or.... Oh no...

I've fallen for Nook.....
