"I'll be waiting downstairs for you. "

Harry said and I nodded in response. He left me alone in my room and I reached for my phone. I dialled Daniel's number and waited until he picked up the call.

"Sir...?"

"Did you get any further pieces of information from him? "

"He checked the whole house but got nothing regarding him being missing. Should I tell him to try his friends? "

"Not needed. We can't risk that. "

"What about his family?"

"I know what to do about it. Just tell him to come back. "

I said sternly.

"Yes Sir. "

He hung up and I looked outside the window into the forest.

I should figure out what my mother is hiding and what happened to Jackson. But now, let's deal with the strangers.

After taking out the hidden gun and bullets kept inside my drawer, I walked out of my room towards the stairs. Within a minute I reached the front door. When I opened it, Harry and Tanner were already waiting for me. They nodded at me and I nodded back at them signalling to move on. We moved slowly towards the forest with the other guards surrounding us. I was close when I noticed something or someone moving beside the house. I looked carefully to see Glory walking with her phone held high in the air, probably trying to signal at this time of the night.

Stupid girl.

I slowly moved towards her without disturbing others when I noticed her walking forward towards the forest.

"Glory...! "

I whisper yelled and she turned towards me. She smiled before she was shot and she yelled falling on the ground.

"No....! "

I said running towards her instantly picking her up in my arms.

"Hey..., you alright? "

There was a hole on her shirt, but nothing else. I frowned and she grinned. She was wearing a bulletproof suit inside.

"Where did you get this from? "

"You expect me to roam around this Jurassic park without protection? "

I smirked and took her towards the door.

"I'm fine, you should help them. "

"Don't you get it yet? They want you. "

I said running inside towards the safest and the most dangerous place at the same time in the house. Underground.

She held me tight when I went down the steps closing the door behind me.
