Jen’s POV:

“Bye Jena! Bye Natalie!” I yell as the two wave from Jena’s car. I walk up the pathway to the house, dig out my keys from my purse, and unlock the door. When I hear it close, Josh’s voice comes from in the kitchen. He seems to be on the phone. “Ok great… Thank you so much... Alright… Bye.” When I try to sneak past him he doesn’t even turn around before saying “I heard you come in, missy.” He turns around, grinning. He walks around the island to give me a kiss. I plop my purse on one of the tall stools next to the island, and my jacket soon covers my purse.

My hand finds a spot on Josh’s head, my fingers laced in between his dark hair. “Who were you talking to, Joshy?” I ask him. “Nobody.” He responds. I raise my eyebrows and give him a small smile. “It’s just that a pizza will be here in about fifteen minutes.” I feel a grin suddenly appear on my face. I give him another kiss. “You know the way straight to a girl’s heart, Josh.” He laughs. Until the pizza gets here, I decide to go watch some TV.

Josh’ POV:

Whew. That was close. Jen almost found out about who I was really talking to. Luckily, I had also ordered a pizza, so I just used that as an excuse. The truth? I’d been talking to the coordinator of the Los Angeles Mockingjay premiere, who said she’d make my plans work. The coordinator, whose name was Erin, had invited me to a small meeting with some of the co-coordinators, if you will. You know, the lights, the setup, even the person who organized where the banners and posters were going to be. The meeting was scheduled to be Friday. My plan was to tell Jen Friday morning that I was going on errands. Let’s hope this works out.

*Friday morning*

The sun streams into the passenger side of my car as I drive down Main Street. I pull into a parking spot, take my keys out of the ignition and step outside into the cool early-spring morning. Digging into the deep pockets of my jacket, I grab my sunglasses and place them over my eyes. I walk down the sidewalk a little ways before entering into a small building.

“Josh?”

The familiar accent stops me in my tracks only a minute after I’ve entered the room. I turn and take off my sunglasses, rubbing my eyes a little to be sure I’m not seeing and hearing things. Surely enough, the pretty Spanish lady I was dating for a while is sitting a few seats away from where I’ve sat down.

“Claudia?” I respond. She laughs, saying enthusiastically, “Josh! How are you?” I smile at her. “I’m good. Yourself?” She nods. “Good.” Then, she asks something that I had to replay in my head because I wasn’t sure if she had asked it or not.

“How are you and Jennifer?”

I mean, I guess it wasn’t too weird that she asked, it’s just kinda weird since Claudia and I dated for a while. “Uhh… We’re good. Trying to avoid the media, of course.” I respond. She laughs.

“So. What are you doing en los Estados Unidos? I thought you were still in Spain.” I ask her. She smiles shyly, tucking a lock of stray hair behind her ear before responding “A movie. I’ve been cast as one of the lead roles.” I smile. “Well, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be cast as a lead role. You’re very talented.” She gives me a gentle smile back. “Thank you.” She pauses. “What brings you to the office today?” Oh no. What should I say? Should I tell her I’ve been planning to propose to Jen? No, no, Josh. That’s a bad idea. Besides, I’d hate to make her jealous of Jen. Plus, what if someone else hears it and spreads it? That wouldn’t be good…

“I’m coordinating some stuff for Mockingjay Part 2.” She nods, letting out a quiet “Ohh...” and smiles. Her face lights up and she says “Oh! I’ve been meaning to tell you! I saw Mockingjay Part 1!” I grin at her. “You did?” She nods. “Very intense movie. You did a great job playing Peeta, Josh.” I nod. “Thank you.”

“Claudia?” I hear a man say. “You ready to talk about your role?” Claudia nods at the man and stands up to follow him, but before she leaves, I stand up and give her a hug. “It was great to see you, Josh.” She says. I smile. “You too.” “Good luck with Mockingjay.” She says. I wish her luck on her new movie before she waves and walks off with the man to one of the separate rooms.

A few minutes later, Erin comes in and invites me into her office. Before I stand up to follow her, I let out a huge sigh. Here we go.

This chapter is just to prove that there's no rivalry going on between Josh and Claudia in this story. :3

(I know she isn't on the cast list, but oh welp. ._.)
