Jen's POV:

I wake up in Josh's house, with him still softly snoring right next to me. It takes me a second to remember why I'm here, then when I shift, I feel the pain in my arm. Chris. I sigh.

It's a beautiful Friday morning, regardless. I get up and walk over to the window. The sun is shining perfectly through the trees, creating an orange glow on the pavement. I smile, knowing that Peeta from the Hunger Games would have loved this kind of morning. For Katniss?... Well, she would have felt the same, I think.

I hear Josh stirr. He stretches, letting a few random sounds escape. "Morning, Jen." He says with his groggy voice. "Morning, Joshy." He sighs. "Wow. Look at that sun! Peeta would've loved this kind of morning." I laugh. "That's what I was thinking too." He walks to the same window I'm standing at and puts an arm around my back. I look at him and smile. "How ya doin?" He asks me. I subconsiously touch my arm. "Feeling better." I tell him. "That's good." He says with a smile. "Hey Jen, I wanna show you something." I nod at him.

Josh pulls out his phone and unlocks it, opening the pictures and hitting the most recent one. I smile when I recognize what it is. Sure enough, it's the Hunger Games Picture Frames, as I call it.  "I had no idea you had this, Jen." He tells me, "But I love it." I laugh. "I just wanted to keep the memory alive, ya know?" He nods. "Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. Filming those movies was an amazing experience. Lots of hard work." I nod at him "LOTS of hard work." I repeat. "But lots of fun too." He nods. "You know, I thought this was the coolest picture ever." He says, zooming in on the beach kiss one with the cameras. "Yeah. One of the crew took that and sent it to me. I like it too." He laughs when he says, "We were like mid kiss too. I can tell." I nod. "First time we really took eachother seriously on set." We laugh. He comments, "Well, we must've been tired then!" I giggle.

Suddenly, I feel our eyes lock on eachothers again. Those perfect, chocolate eyes. He smiles, letting out a short laugh before we're just looking at eachother. Something stirrs inside me. I can't quite pinpoint what it is. Longing? Desire? Hope? Maybe just happiness, for the friendship we've had. What else am I feeling? Surely longing, because I get the sudden urge to reenact that beach kiss. I laugh in my head. God, what am I thinking?

Finally, Josh interrupts the silence by saying "Well, Miss Lawrence. Would you care to join me for breakfast?" He says this in the best fake British accent I've ever heard. This makes me giggle again. "Of course, Mr. Hutcherson." I grin at him. He offers me his hand like a prince and I take it like a princess. We laugh and head downstairs, our fingers still locked together, this time in a more casual way.

Downstairs, we're eating pancakes. Josh asks me, with a mouthful of pancake, "What were you and Francis talking about after the meeting?" I take a sip of my orange juice and answer, "Oh, you know. Just what we could do for the movie Katniss and Peeta-wise." He gives me a look. "and..?" "We're just going to elaborate on the epilogue a little bit. You know, of Mockingjay." He nods. "Cool."

Suddenly, I change the subject. "Josh, I just wanted to thank you." He smiles. "Thank me? For what?" "Helping me last night. Not everyone would be willing to go out in December at 11:00 at night to rescue.." He interrupts me. "..their best friend? Jen, you know I would do anything for you. Hell, remember that interview where I told the guy I would run around Times Square with no clothes on for ya?" I laugh. "Yes, I do." I pause. We make eye contact again. "Thank you, Joshy." He takes my hand and squeezes it. "You're welcome."
