Josh's POV:

It's late at night. I'm texting, checking Twitter, doing all the normal stuff I would be doing on a Thursday, a few weeks after the meeting with Francis. All of a sudden, my phone lights up with Jen's number on the screen. Why is Jen calling me? I pick up.

"Hello?" I say. "J..Josh?" Jen's nervous and scared voice comes through the phone. "C..can I come.. To your house?" She sounds so cold! "Sure, Jen. Is something wrong?" I ask. She pauses. Then I can hear her crying through the phone. Oh god. What happened to her?! "Chris.. He came back. He was.. He was yelling at me, and hitting me and told me that if I ever kissed you again, you would get beat up by him." I was speechless. "I thought you two broke up." I point out. "We DID!" She says, crying even harder. "That son of a bitch!" I shout. "How could he do this to you?" I pause again. "Jen, this is all my fault... I'll come pick you up." She quiets down. "Thank you, Joshy." She says. "I'm just outside my house." "I'll be right there!" I tell her.

I swear I don't think I've ever moved faster. Grabbed my coat. Slipped my phone in my pocket. Popped on some shoes. Hopped in my car. As I drive down the street, I keep my eye out for Jen. I soon spot her, standing out there with her coat wrapped around her, shivering. I don't even turn off my car before hopping out and running over to her. She runs into my embrace and is crying again. "Jen.. It's okay. I won't let anyone hurt you. Come with me."

She follows me to the car. As she climbs into the passenger seat, I hear her say "Shit." I look at her. "Forgot my bag." She says. "I'll get it." I tell her. She thanks me and I head inside her house. It's warm, inviting, and smells like cinnamon. I grab her bag on the closet doorknob and am just to head back out when I spot a picture frame on her wall.

Above it is a thin strip of construction paper where Jen had written "The Hunger Games" with a small heart. The frame itself has various size smaller frames combined. The pictures were all of her and I behind the scenes and during the premieres. One of us behind the scenes of Catching Fire with the fake push jewels on us and we're laughing. One of us that had apparently been taken by one of the crew, because its a picture of us as Katniss and Peeta kissing on that beautiful Hawaii beach, with the silhouettes of the cameras in front of us. One of us during the Mockingjay Part One premiere. There were tons of them! The part that made me smile the most was that she had saved some of the frames, and had written on the backings "Mockingjay Part Two" and "Whatever". I assumed she had written "The Hunger Games" , "Catching Fire" and "Mockingjay Part One" on the ones that were occupied by photos already. I snap a picture of the whole collage and race out the door, knowing that Jen is probably getting impatient.

I hand her her bag and she thanks me again. We drive down the street in silence. I don't want to upset her. When we get to my house, I give her a small snack and a drink, and bring her upstairs to my room. "You can stay with me tonight, Jen." She looks at me. "Really?" She asks. "Of course." I respond. I hand her a baggy T-Shirt and a pair of sweatpants from my drawer. She changes in the bathroom. "These smell like you." She says when she comes out. She smiles slightly and hugs herself, taking in a huge breath and sighing. I chuckle at her. "You know.." I tell her as I take off the jeans I had rushed to put on, "you don't have to pretend to hug me when I'm right here." She laughs, walking over to me and burying her face in my neck. I can just barely hear her whisper, "I love you, Josh Hutcherson." I smile. We break away, and I sit on my bed, patting the other side as an invitation for her to join me. She climbs on, moving down to rest a hand and her head on my chest. "I love you, Jennifer Lawrence." I tell her. She sighs. Just after I move the sheets up a bit, I can hear her gentle snores, and I fall asleep in her presence.
