Chapter Four

Jen's POV

We're on the smaller version of a Mockingjay set. The ginormous one was packed up when we "officially" wrapped a few months ago.

All I know as of right now is that I'm Katniss. He's Peeta. We're kissing. Again. Honestly, I really do feel like Katniss right now. Not the emotional turmoil of course, but like she had said in Catching Fire...

"I thought I was some kind of an expert on hunger, but this is an entirely new kind."

I don't know what it is. I know Josh probably thinks it's all acting, and I always have, but now I feel different....and yes, we are filming the LOVE scene right now. It was a bit awkward at first, but now.... It feels weird. 

We're kissing, and all of a sudden I feel the tenseness of being filmed disappear, but the weirdest thing is happening. Josh is still kissing me. I'm still kissing him. False alarm, maybe? Maybe we're still recording and he's just relaxing...?

I soon learn that it wasn't a false alarm, as Francis clears his throat and yells into his megaphone, "Eh hem! I SAID CUT!" Josh suddenly pulls away and I get up. "Sorry, Francis. I guess Peeta's a little horny." Josh says with a laugh. I then notice that his face is as red as a tomato. Francis laughs. "Hmm.. I guess he is." He says with a smirk. He picks up his megaphone again and says, "GOOD JOB TODAY EVERYONE!" Josh walks up to Francis. I hear him ask, "How much longer were we kissing after you said cut?" Francis replies, "About 10 seconds, I'd say." Josh's face gets redder. "Hey, Josh! Don't worry about it! Happens all the time, even with the most coordinated actors. Actors that get really into their characters prove to be the best ones." Francis smiles and pats Josh on the back before putting down his megaphone, which was fortunatley off, and walking off to the water cooler.

Josh walks over to me and says, "Nice acting, Jen. Almost thought that was real." I smile at him with a slight laugh. "Wanna get some water?" I ask him. "I'm still sweating." He laughs and replies, "I am too. Let's get some water."
