Chapter 43: Dinner - 'Finally!'

When the boys and Kitsune had finished in the bathroom, all members put on pjamas,  as the sun had nearly set.

(Kitsune's pj's)

Kitsune and the boys entered the dining hall shortly after. Many types of food had already been cooked and set out,  as the Pack had no idea what BTS liked and didn't like.

"Just sit anywhere boys. There is no set seating." Kitsune informed them as she sat at the head. She was Alpha after all.

"Eomma!" Jing and Meng yelled, having heard her voice. The young twin boys engulfed Kitsune in the tightest hug. They had missed their mother quite terribly. Now they were safely in her arms.

"Jing! Meng! How are my sweet babes?"

"We missed you Eomma!" They turned to BTS. "Are Appas ok?" They asked in unison. Kitsune chuckled as more than half smirked at her in remembrance of their previous activities. She chuckled lowly,  her eyes glowing a light blue.

"Yes, Appas are good."

"Good with Eomma?" Jing asked mischievously. Of course he knew what was going on. He wasn't stupid.

"Yes... For now." Her eyes returned to normal as they all took their places.

"I call dibs next to Loli!" Jimin immediately took the right. The others groaned as Namjoon had already sat down on Kitsune's left.

Namjoon. Meng. Yoongi. Jungkook.

Kitsune. Jin.

Jimin. Jing. Hoseok. Taehyung.

"Where is the Pack?" Taehyung asked curiously.

"They've probably already eaten and retired for bed. If you recall,  we had to escape from a danger you've never faced before." Namjoon nodded in understanding.

"Who was the snake man?" Jin questioned,  his mind flooding back to when he nearly became reptile food.

Jin,  Namjoon,  Hoseok and Yoongi had just been unceremoniously dumped down a dark hole.

"Well that was fun." Yoongi stated, his sarcasm thick as he brushed dirt off his ass.

"Is everyone ok?" Jin asked around. Namjoon stumbled over a loose rock and accidentally bumped into Hobi.

"Ahhhh!" The frightened sunshine shook in fear.

"Hobi hyung, it's only me!" He calmed down a little, until he heard the worst sound possible.

Hissssss! Hoseok paled.

"What the fuck was that?!" Jin looked at him sternly.

"Language!" Then he heard it too.

Hisss!

"Please no. Please don't let it be a snake!"

Hisssss! Green fire lit up the hole to reveal that they had been pushed into a weird cave of sorts... And of course, a large scale- covered terrifying attacker.

"You just had to ask." Yoongi dead panned.

"Everyone run!" Namjoon yelled. Three of them ran for cover. One stood still, frozen in pure terror.

"Hobi!" Hoseok was rooted to the spot,  his fear causing cold shivers down his spine.

'Sunshine, you need to run.' He thought he heard her voice echo in his mind. Fueled by the thought of Kitsune, Hoseok regained his feeling and ran into the tiny cave the other had already taken refuge. Luckily, the opening was too small for the snake's head to fit through, but they all knew it wouldn't last forever. The giant cobra bashed it's head against the opening, caving in the only known entrance, and trapping the four soulmates underground.

"That is the animal form of Du Tai. I... I'm so sorry!" Hoseok shuddered in response.

"He is after you?" Kitsune sighed.

"Unfortunately, yes." Kitsune put down her chopsticks and opened her arms, knowing exact who needed her most right now. "Hoseok, come here and bring your plate." Her fox features became more prominent as she borrowed it's height. Hobi did as he was told, and sat down in his soulmate's lap. Her fox tail curled round him, and he, closed his eyes instantly as he calmed from her heartbeat. In her arms, he was always safe. He felt so comfortable that he actually promptly passed out,  clutching onto her and never letting go. Kitsune smiled warmly and kissed the lovable sunshine's cheeks. Envious looks were thrown his way,  but he was no longer awake to see it. He had his Princess, and right now...

that was all he needed.
