Chapter 61: What Kitsune Means to Me

"Where's Noona?" Jimin asked his leader. He passed a small object to either hand through his nervousness.

"She's with Jin-hyung right now."

"When are they coming back? I want to show her something important." Jimin stated, impatiently hopping on foot.

"So do I." Namjoon sat down on the couch and motioned for his brother to sit down as well.

"You mean that Dream Diary of yours?"Namjoon nodded. Jimin sighed as he hung his head, staring at the smooth stone in his hands. "I wish I had thought of something like that. Sounds way cooler than mine." Namjoon sat the younger boy down.

"Jimin what makes you think she won't appreciate your gift?"

"Because everyone else's sounds so much more cooler, or more romantic than mine. I just... really want her to know that I love her just as much, and would do anything to keep her safe. I can't live without her, hyung!" Namjoon nodded.

"I know what you mean. How about think why you collected them in the first place? What is special about them that connects you to our Kitsune?" Jimin sat quietly, deep in thought with his leader's advice.

"They just remind me of Kitsune... When all the other kids told me I was weak and not worth it, she always told me I was special, and that someone cared about me so much. To never give up, and if I fell she'd always be there to help me back up. These stones... They're a reminder of everything she told me. Every reason why she loved me and that I was worth every star in the sky. When I brought them to school no one ever hurt me, because she was there in spirit. Kitsune... She is my everything."

"That was beautiful hyung." Jungkook whispered. Hoseok cried in the back ground, having also heard his speech.

"She's been there for all of us. She never gave up on us, no matter the consequences, " Taehyung sniffled. "She's got scars.... From shen she told Jin-hyung. Namjoon, we can't let her go back there."

"Where?"

"To Magix. Not until Du Tai is gone, along with the rest of the council."

"....What did they do?" Namjoon trembled. All three of the maknaes were looking at him as if they had been shot through the heart.

"They punished her... For telling Jin... That she's our soulmate."

"Those scars are so deep and yet so old... Hyung I'm scared!" Jungkook sat close to Namjoon on the couch. "I'm scared that she's going to die. We barely know how to control our powers and... N-Noona..." Jungkook's eyes grew wide as he felt a tell-tale cold chill down his spine.
