A male who looked nearly identical to Tai stood motionless, an evil smirk spreading across his face.
"Thank you for finally bringing the celestial welp to me. And I had almost deemed you as useless." His green eyes glowed brighter with malice. He chuckled. "It was so easy to manipulate you. What, without your sister, you are powerless… Aren't you?" He curled his clawed hand towards Tai's throat and he screamed.
"Tai!" Kitsune cried out, her aura flaring as she tried to shield him. The chains and handcuffs that the other male's henchmen had put on her blocked part of her magic. "Oppa!" One of the men put a metal collar on her neck with green pearls, and pulled her forcefully towards the portal.
"Shru Kai! Please! Not my sister," Tai pleaded. The older brother chuckled.
"You stole my name, you stole my mother-"
"You killed our Mother! I saw you!"
"You were weak! She never should have given birth to you! Setsuna used to be respected as a powerful Magix user. We lived peacefully in control… And then came Corvus Malum. A man who dared sully our magical blood with human DNA. A filthy human!" Shru spat. He pointed to Kitsune, who's breathing started to become heavier. Her eyes were slowly dimming, and so did her aura. "You, I could have handled quite nicely, if only she would stop interfering!" Tai's brow furrowed in confusion.
"What?"
"She protected you. A mere newborn bested me, when you should have dropped dead." Tai's eyes grew wide, and his blood ran cold.
'No!'
"I knew then, I would have to take her down, and make sure she would never be reborn again." Shru turned around to depart. "Enjoy your freedom while it lasts. I have one last celestial to dispose of before true immortality becomes mine! Hahahahah!" He walked into the portal first. The other men followed, just as Namjoon and the others turned the corner.
"T-Tai! P-protect them. P-please!" Kitsune cried out. Tai nodded slowly, still in pain. "Thank you… Oppa." Her body became limp, and the portal closed just as Jungkook reached it a second too late.
