Chapter 37: Intervention

"HOLY SHIT!"

"This is bad. This is very bad!" Borae held her head in her hands, eyes wide in shock. "Minsu what do we do?!"

"I'll tell you what we'll do." Minsu and Borae looked up to find the twins calm and collected, and (surprisingly enough) not arguing.

"We first need to have someone find a way out of here. Minsu that's on you." Soong started confidently.

"Borae, you find the twins. Alpha would kill us if anything happened to her babies." Kwon continued, as they both pulled out their signature weapons.

"What about you two?"

"We'll find Kitsune and her soulmates. As twins we have a radar for each others signature. Once we find them, we must all come together on Celestial Hill, shout the signal-"

"And return to our Secret Home. The world needs us, but they also need Kitsune and her mates more. Any questions?" Kwon asked as he held his red sword out, ready for action.

"Damn." Minsu looked at the twins in awe.

"I'm ready. Let's go."

"Well, that was a warm welcome." Yoongi stated sarcastically. "Wonder when they started executing people and serving them as lunch." He huddled with Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok in the corner of the cave they were now trapped in.

"I don't think Kitsune knew this would happen. Something doesn't seem right." Namjoon spoke quietly as he continued to look for a way out.

"Doesn't seem right?!" Hoseok shrieked, his adrenaline running higher than a kite. "Namjoon we were nearly eaten by a giant snake! None of that is normal."

"Namjoon is right. Kitsune wouldn't bring us here if she knew it wasn't safe. I just hope our Maknaes are safe with her." Jin solemnly replied back.

"I don't know for sure about that. However I do know we all need to leave Magix." A male voice called out from the darkness. A flaming red sword was lifted up, and in the casted light, the face of Kwon took form.

"Beta 2?"

"We found out about Du Tai's infiltration. His magic is strong, but with you and Kitsune together, you can free both worlds."

"What?... Why?" Jin asked carefully.

"Because out of all the reincarnations of Alitalia,  Kitsune is the first to be also born of two worlds... Kitsune may not know all of the details, but as her personal guards we all learned the whole true tale. Kitsune needs you, just as you need her. No matter where a soulmate comes from, it's their love and sacrifice that makes a bigger impact."

Boom.

All five looked back at the caved in entrance.

BOOM!

"We need to go, now!" The humanoid dragon male pulled the four soulmates with him through the secret passageway... Just in time to see a flash of green light between the cracks of debris.
