With Blair's boyfriend Nate helping to close up the family yacht for the season, Blair is free to focus on the most important event of the fall..her annual sleepover, a tradition since the year 2000, each one more decadent than the last.

No expense or reputation is spared.

With everything from trundle beds to truffles in place, all that's missing is sleepover star and Waldorf B.F.F. s Serena Van Der Woodsen and London Kohler.

Sitting in the courtyard with Blair and her minions Serena walks up the table with Jenny talking on the phone.

"What! Eric's coming home?!" I ask her.

"It's perfect timing" Blair adds.

"How so?" Serena questions.

"Well it gives your mother and brother time to bond alone tonight while you get drunk on schnapps and moon the NYU dorms from the limo," Blair states.

Serena laughs before asking "Blair, what are you talking about?"

3-2-1 I count to myself waiting for Blair to enlighten Serena and scold her for forgetting 'the most important night of the fall.'

Serena realizes what she had forgotten and says "Oh, the sleepover."

"I prefer soiree. Sleepover is so sophomore year," Blair remarks.

Serena sighs before telling Blair that she can't make it due to plans.

Hating to be the bearer of more bad news I quietly add that I too can't make it.

Blair explains how we are missing the event of the year and that we can't make any stops along the night to see her.

We were either "all in or all out."

I recommend Jenny to go in our place which she seemed to like.

Chuck waves me over across the courtyard.

I excuse myself to go see what's up.

"Hey. We're still on for tonight right?" Chuck asks me, wanting to clarify if we still had plans to get dinner and let me vent out everything that had been going on in my mind since Carter showed up last weekend.

"Yes of course. On the way home we'll have to make a pit stop at Blair's sleepover..wait soiree." I tell him.

He chuckles lightly before saying that sounds good.

We then both part ways as we head off to our next class.

Chuck picks me up at my place before heading over to my favorite restaurant 'Magnols'.

"So where did you wanna start?" he asks me.

"I don't even know where to begin," looking off thinking "I mean why show up after all this time."
