Blair and I stand outside Serena's place so that we can spy on Serena's new boyfriend.
According to Serena he has some mysterious behavior so Blair and myself being the loyal friends that we are thought we would investigate on her behalf.
We are worried about Serena and we want to make sure that Gabriel doesn't end up being some dirtbag.
"London, look!" Blair exclaims pointing to a girl up ahead.
Upon further look I see that it's Poppy Lifton.
"What is she doing with Gabriel?" I question.
We continue to watch in silence as she takes Gabriel's hand and gets into his car.
And when a queen discovers her best maiden is with a dragon in disguise, the only thing to do is pull up the drawbridge and trap him.
Metaphorically of course.
Later that day Blair and I make our way to Serena's party at her penthouse.
As soon as we enter we find Gabriel and Serena talking.
We give each other a look before intruding on the couple.
Blair speaks up first "Gabriel. We just simply have not had time to bond." she grabs his arm.
"Come. We'll walk."
"Where are we going?" Serena asks me as I pull her arm.
"A tour." I answer in a duh like manner.
"Of my house?" Serena questions in confusion.
"I've been here before." Gabriel tries to assure us as we continue to drag him along.
"First, we'll start with Serena's room." Blair informs us all.
Once in the room Blair starts pointing out random items to buy time until Chuck arrives to help us with exposing Gabriel.
"Poppy?" Gabriel speaks as she greets us at the door.
"Gabriel." Poppy says before looking around us realizing what was going on.
"Oh, nice I knew it." Serena then steps in trying to defuse the situation "Poppy, we need to talk."
"What do you wanna talk about? The fact that you stole my boyfriend?!" she scoffs.
"I didn't steal him you left." Serena tries to clarify.
"It doesn't matter, it's not you I'm mad at. It's him." Poppy responds tilting her head towards Gabriel.
"No one's killing anyone. It's a co-op cocktail party." Chuck states matter of factly.
"What an idiot I am. Using my connection for your company." Poppy says in disbelief.
