Tonight is a big night.
It's fashion week and my new line for summer is dropping.
Chuck is going to walk in the show as well as Aiden which I am extremely excited about!
I want it to become a tradition that Kohler and Bass men walk in my shows to showcase the family aspect of my business.
Things were hectic backstage as male models were running here and there.
I finally find Chuck among the madness.
"Hey! These are for you." he says, giving me sunflowers, my favorite.
"Thank you, babe. These are beautiful" I gush while I call over my assistant to put them in some water.
"Have you seen Aiden?" I question.
"Yeah he was talking to your dad about five minutes ago." Chuck replies.
"Oh, okay, good." I say getting distracted as I see a model walk by wearing the wrong suit.
"Hey! Ethan! Get back here!" I storm off leaving Chuck by himself as he laughs watching me get into "boss mode."
Eventually the show starts and everything is going so well!
It's now getting towards the end so I get ready to walk onto the stage to take my bow.
Once I'm on the stage the bright lights start to get to me and I feel a little faint.
The next thing I know I'm passing out on stage.
I wake up to see bright white lights and walls around me.
Already knowing I'm at the hospital I panic not sure what's going on.
"Why am I here?" I question.
"London, there's something I need to tell you." Chuck says, grabbing my hand as he realizes I am awake.
"What is it? Why am I here?" I ask, freaking out.
"Babe, you're pregnant." he voices out in pure joy.
"What?" I choke out.
I had no clue I was pregnant.
I've been so busy preparing for the show that I guess I didn't even notice that my period was late.
"Yes. The doctor said you've been pregnant for about six weeks now. The stress from the show and the lights caused you to pass out but you're fine and so is the baby." Chuck cries out.
"I'm pregnant?...I'm gonna be a mom?!" I question with happiness but fear.
"Yes, and I'm gonna be a dad." Chuck answers beaming.
"Oh my god." I smile now finally making sense of this news.
"Does the press know?" I question since my fall most likely would have made every major publication in town.
"Yes but your stock went up by 5% because of it. People are thrilled for you. For us." he reveals.
"What about my parents and Lily?" I wonder.
"I called them immediately. Everyone we know is outside those doors waiting for you." he smiles down at me.
There is a knock on our door and in comes who I presume is the doctor.
"Mrs. Bass, you're up! Great! As Mr. Bass informed you, you are pregnant. Congratulations! I've prescribed some prenatal vitamins for you and have scheduled your first appointment with one of our best OBGYN." he explains.
"Thank you. When can I be released?" I question.
"In about another hour or so once we get these papers drawn up." he finishes before excusing himself leaving Chuck and I alone again.
"You are gonna be the best mom ever." he whispers.
"I hope so." I sigh thinking about my own mother and how I hope to god to never be like Jen.
"I know so." Chuck says, squeezing my hand.
"Well you are twice the man that Bart will ever be." I tell Chuck.
"Thank you." he replies sincerely.
"Knock. Knock. Congrats!!" dad says entering the room with all of our friends behind him.
"We're gonna be grandparents!" He beams, smiling at Lucy.
"Yes you are." I smile back.
