When the white tents blossom in Bryant Park it can only mean one thing: Fashion Week.
The time of year when any Park Ave Princess would trade her last Prada for front row seats to the best shows.
And we hear the seating chart for Eleanor Waldorf's show is being made by our very own B.
I was walking through the hallways of Constance and St. Judes making my way to class when Chuck appears by my side, "Ah, the besieged Queen."
"What do you want, Chuck?" I question rolling my eyes.
"To help. Both Blair and Serena have taken your throne now. And you and Blair wage a war on Serena without an ally. You need me." he reveals.
"There is no war." I say shrugging my shoulders.
"Now that Marcus has been booted back to Brighton, I'm free to focus on my old life. Serena and Blair can battle it out for Queen all they want." I honestly state not wanting any part in their war.
We come to a stop as we spot Blair handing out second row seats to Eleanor's fashion show to her minions but they get distracted seeing Serena in a magazine with socialite Poppy Lifton.
"Blair" I call out to her.
"I'm going to enjoy watching you fail, it gives me so much joy. I can't see you keeping neutral in this war for too long." Chuck smirks down at me.
"And you know what you give everyone Chuck? Misery." I tell him.
"There's a reason you're always out here alone." I continue.
"Nate just happens to be away at his grandparents." Chuck informs me.
"Nate's only friends with you out of habit. The only person with fewer friends than you is Dan Humphrey. But at least his dad likes him." I immediately regret those words once they leave my mouth.
"Well princess it seems your mother never really liked you so I guess we're even." he speaks.
Not wanting to say anything else I would regret I swiftly walk away from him.
Today was the big day.
Elenor's fashion show! I wait backstage with Blair helping her and her mother get everything ready so that Blair, Serena, and I can enjoy the show from backstage once it begins keeping up with our tradition.
I walk out from backstage to make sure the seating order was correct when I hear Serena call me out.
"Oh, Hey S." I say.
"London this is Poppy Lifton. Poppy, this is my best friend, London Kohler." she introduces us.
