It was the one year anniversary of Chuck and I's wedding and he was determined to give me the wedding of my dreams even though I assured him I was fine.
He had invited all of our closest friends and family to Turks and Caicos for our "wedding part two" so that this time we could take our time exchanging vowels and everything.
This past year has been really good for us.
I decided to turn my business into a luxury suit line since I had years of experience helping Chuck pick out suits for events.
I figured that I might as well put my talents to good use.
The company K & B for Kohler and Bass has had tremendous success.
I am listed at number three for one of the fastest growing businesses in the country.
Meanwhile Chuck is still finding success in the real estate game and is on track to surpass the records Bart had set while he was alive.
Chuck does not miss his father and instead he has grown really close to mine.
Lucy and dad are still going strong and Jen and Jeff were sentenced to twenty five years so it would be a while before I would have to see them again.
Thank you Jesus.
Aiden works for some tech company in Upstate and has met a really good guy named Chad.
Let's just say I can't wait to be the maid of honor when the time comes!
Serena and Dan got married and Blair and Nate are engaged so I guess you could say that everyone is finally at peace.
Chuck comes into our bedroom placing a kiss on my neck to bring me out of my thoughts.
"Morning, love." he whispers.
"Morning." I say turning around to meet my lips with his.
We break apart after a sweet kiss.
"I've got everything set up. All you need to do is meet me at the aisle at noon." he speaks.
"Perfect. Thank you, Chuck. You are such a good man." I sigh, holding his hand.
"I wasn't always." He replies looking disappointed in his past.
"That is true. You put me through hell and I suppose I did too occasionally but we've both grown so much since then.We love each other so much. Nothing can break us." I assure him.
"I know. I know. I love you London Bass." he smiles bringing me into one last kiss.
"See you at noon." I whisper as his lips leave mine.
"See you at noon." he winks before leaving the room.
It was now noon and I was walking down the aisle in the same dress as last year.
I couldn't help it.
I was in love with that dress!
Chuck chuckles lightly knowing how much I love this dress when he sees me.
Blair takes my flowers while Nate hands Chuck and I our rings for the vowels.
"Who would like to go first?" Cyrus questions.
"I will" Chuck says.
"London Marie Bass. You are my everything. Our relationship started off when we were tiny kids on the playground coming up with a scheme for how to get Emma Williams back for stealing your pony." I laugh at the memory of the first time Chuck and I ever schemed together.
"It continued to blossom as we got older. Especially when your mom left. For the first time we saw each other on a deeper level. Who knew that over time that connection would build to where we are now. Our path was rocky but yet we always remained there for each other and I'm convinced that we always will be there for each other. I love you with my whole heart and I'm so thankful that you see me for who I am despite my transgressions. That you love me unconditionally. I too will love you unconditionally. Now, forever, and always. I love you." he concludes.
Tears stream down his face as a few fall from my own.
"Chuck Bartholomew Bass. You are one of a kind. For so long we tried to deny our feelings for each other but once we finally confessed it was like a new door to our future opened. We had our plenty of struggles but we always came back stronger for it. Just like I know all of your transgressions you know mine and yet you never stopped loving me. You are my rock, my stars and my moon. I will always love you." I finish.
Cyrus then has us each put the rings on our fingers.
Chuck and I couldn't stop crying while smiling at each other.
After we did the whole "for richer or poorer" part of the vowels Cyrus announces that Chuck may now kiss the bride.
Chuck pulls me into him leaving a long passionate kiss as we both beam into it.
We break apart for air while all of our friends stand up cheering for us.
Chuck pulls me into his side, pressing a kiss to my head.
I give him a wink as we both walk down the aisle to reunite with our friends and family for the reception.
