The walk from the train station to the convention building was a bit more relaxed than the ride to the station.
There were more and more people wearing costumes so at last the attention wasn't just on us.
We didn't have to walk far to the convention building, and after about five minutes we arrived.
The sheer amount of people waiting outside made me think twice about this whole situation..

If I said I felt suffocated it would be an understatement.
The absurd amount of people inside made the heat inside feel even worse.
Or maybe it was just me.
We made our way through the crowd to a less populated area.
Breathing a sigh of relief, we sat down next to a pillar.Mal0 was squeezing my hand so hard it almost cut off my blood flow.
-Uhh...
-We arrived? -I said as I turned to look at Mal0.The anomaly didn't answer, she just sat there watching people passing by.
-...
-Yes.The building was nothing amazing, its carpeted floors didn't look like they had been swept in months.
Someone set up a stall next to us, an artist selling his work, sitting on a small bench.
They were wearing the head of a green fox, which made them stand out quite a bit.Their eyes wandered to Mal0 from time to time, but she didn't seem to notice.
I was praying that no one would find out who she really was.
Sure, ordinary people don't know about the existence of anomalies, but..Still..
...
I should relax, I wouldn't want to look too tense next to Mal0, and make her nervous too.
...
We are sitting far away from all the people, but I can still feel my heart beating a thousand miles an hour.
I placed a hand on my chest and took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves.Mal0 seemed to notice and turned to look at me.
-Are you all right, Quentin?
-Y-Yes.
-My chest just... hurts a little.-...
-Okay.
-Not cause for alarm, but that guy with the pencil keeps staring at us.(Wow, she noticed?)
-Do you want to go for a walk? -I asked, kicking myself internally for every word that came out of my mouth.
-I'd like to. -She said as he got up from the floor and extended a hand towards me.
I took it and she lifted me off the ground so quickly that I almost fell forward.
-Hey, take it easy. -I mumbled after I regained my balance.
-I apologize.
-Im a bit...
-Nervous. -She added in a whisper. Before we left we passed in front of the guy who had been spying on us, he looked very enthusiastic about whatever he was drawing.
-Wait a minute! -He exclaimed, waving his hand towards us.
We both turned to look at him, appreciating all of his... art as we walked in his direction.
He turned his sketchbook over and showed us what he had drawn in it.
...
A basic sketch of us lying down, with a couple of hearts drawn on top of us.
