1. How did you adjust your writing in your stories, may naapektuhan ba because of work/acads and life?

I wasn't greatly affected since I've always been a multitasker. It was a challenge in the beginning when I was shuffling work and studies. But when I got the hang of things, it was a great experience. Mas naging organized ako at mas na-handle ko nang maayos ang oras ko.

2. What do you prefer to write: Series or Standalone stories? Why?

I prefer writing series. Every character kasi sa stories ko ay may sarili nilang kuwento. Nagsulat na rin ako ng standalone stories before pero laging nagkakaroon ng link sa ibang stories kaya pinanatili ko na lang na series.

3. How do you motivate yourself to keep writing?

I set deadlines for myself. For instance, my New Year's resolution for 2021 was to finish 5 stories. Nag-struggle kasi ako to complete stories last 2020 and I felt really disappointed but I didn't want to live in that bubble. Move on agad! And thankfully, I was able to accomplish my goal by the end of May. Now, I am striving to surpass my goal.

Noon, medyo natatakot akong i-challenge ang sarili ko sa deadlines (lalo na kapag tambak ako sa work or sa volunteering) pero I find it really helpful and useful. Mas napu-push ko kasi ang sarili ko na kailangan kong magsulat dahil marami akong gustong maisulat.

4. Among your stories, what particular scene is difficult for you to write?

I struggle in writing action scenes in a fantasy story so I'm really working on it in my fantasy series, "The Infinite Series".

5. Saan kayo mas nacha-challenge sa pagbuo ng first chapter o sa epilogue?

Sa first chapter ako mas nacha-challenge kasi ito yung intro ng story. Dito nakasalalay kung makukuha mo ang atensyon ng readers (after a nice prologue). Dito nila makikilala ang characters at magkakaroon ng idea kung tungkol saan ang kuwento.

6. If you can bring one of your characters to life, who will it be and why?

Kay Corliss Louise ng Let Me Series: Let Me Speak. I feel that she manifests a big part of my life. Corliss is mute so she uses her paintbrush to express her feelings through her paintings, whereas, I am a quiet person in real life (hindi lang halata) and I feel that I became more connected with other people because of my craft.

7. Among your characters, who's the closest to you? Why?

I'm closest to my character Corliss Louise from Let Me Series: Let Me Speak. Super close ko sa kanya kasi pareho kaming mahilig sa arts like I mentioned sa previous question.

8. If you could collaborate with any author (local man or international), who would it be and why?

Rick Riordan and Lemony Snicket! I love both their works so much and I feel na marami akong matututunan sa kanila when it comes to writing and affecting readers with their words.

9. Anong famous story (be it classic or contemporary Literature) ang hinihiling mong ikaw ang nakapagsulat? Bakit?

Wala. If ako kasi ang nagsulat, baka iba ang naging flow at hindi 'yon ang story na kahuhumalingan at susuportahan ng marami (or maybe not). We would never know. But I never imagined, wished, or dreamt to be the writer of someone else's stories.

10. What are your future plans in your writing career?

Sana makapag-publish ako in the future! Also, I plan to share more stories and have more collaborations with other amazing writers!
