QUESTIONS / MGA TANONG

1. How did you adjust your writing in your stories, may naapektuhan ba because of work/acads and life?

Writing did not affect my uni/work-life. It's the acads and work that affected my writing. Smh. Hahaha. I only write in my free time and when I want (sometimes have) to. Sorry guys, I have to prioritize what feeds me.

2. What do you prefer to write: Series or Standalone stories? Why?

Series, I guess. I write characters that are interesting enough (for me) to deserve their own stories.

3. How do you motivate yourself to keep writing?

I sometimes read my own work. It pushes me to think, "hey I wanna write more like this again." I read other stories, too, but rarely because of this perennial case of reading slump that only gets cured through a phenomenal work that heavily piqued my interest.

4. Among your stories, what particular scene is difficult for you to write?

I have a story entitled Something That Glitters and the setting is in Manhattan, New York. Accurately writing about foreign places I've never been to will always be hard for me, but the online~ travel will always be as interesting.

5. Saan kayo mas nacha-challenge sa pagbuo ng first chapter o sa epilogue?

It's both a challenge, pero mas sa Epilogue. I force myself to encapsulate everything in 30 chapters, exclusive of the prologue and epilogue. So that's only 32 parts. It might feel short, and that's where the challenge in writing the Epilogue comes in. I don't want the readers to feel like it's bitin or as if the book needs a second one. I want to leave the readers feeling elated and just . . . love the feeling of in love.

6. If you can bring one of your characters to life, who will it be and why?

One lang talaga? :( Ok. Si Snooki of Something That Glitters. (At sasabihin ko pa rin: second naman si Archer, ang irog ni miss girl.)

7. Among your characters, who's the closest to you? Why?

Viennica of Something That Will Last. I guess it's because we're both still a little lost when it comes to what we really want in life. Everything is blurred, like, I feel like I know what's ahead but it's not 100% sure. There's this frustration that squinting or even walking closer to nowhere doesn't clear up the haze. And honestly, it's scary most of the time. But I know we'll pull through. We got this, Vie!

8. If you could collaborate with any author (local man or international), who would it be and why?

missflimsy, ynativity, fleurlucent. Simple reason: i love them and their stories.

9. Anong famous story (be it classic or contemporary Literature) ang hinihiling mong ikaw ang nakapagsulat? Bakit?

I can't think of any. >___<

10. What are your future plans in your writing career?

I don't plan. I want to be spontaneous. But I hope opportunities come in for the stories I already completed and to the ones I'm working on. <3

Hiii, wazzup! Ito lang naman ang writer ninyong ginagapang ang kanyang updates. Pero 'wag kayong mag-alala kasi once a month pa rin ang update. Hahaha char!
