1. How did you adjust your writing in your stories, may naapektuhan ba because of work/acads and life?

When I joined Wattpad, I was still a student and had a lot of time to write. But now that I'm a working professional, weekends are the only time when I can update my stories. I guess the "adjustment" part is more on changing my mindset – I stopped viewing writing as a responsibility. Ayos lang naman kung hindi na ako kasingdalas mag-update tulad noon, dahil may mga bagay na mas kailangan kong i-prioritize. Most of my readers, if not all, are willing to wait for my updates, no matter how long it takes for me to post them.

2. What do you prefer to write: Series or Standalone stories? Why?

I don't have a certain preference, but most of my works are part of a series. Most of the time kasi, when I write a new story, nagkakaroon din ng sariling kwento ang side characters sa utak ko. Hence, what I originally intended to be just a standalone story becomes the first installment of a new series.

3. How do you motivate yourself to keep writing?

When I feel like I'm starting to lose my will to write, I remind myself why I started writing in the first place. More than anything, nagsusulat ako para ma-express ang sarili ko. I write the stories that I want to read. These reasons provide me enough motivation to continue writing.

4. Among your stories, what particular scene is difficult for you to write?

As someone who writes romance-comedies, I find it challenging to write the conflict in my stories. Hindi kasi ako sanay na nasasaktan ang characters ko, haha! So, pick any of my stories and pinpoint the scene that highlights the conflict. Chances are, I struggled in writing that particular scene.

5. Saan kayo mas nacha-challenge sa pagbuo ng first chapter o sa epilogue?

To be honest, neither. Writing the first chapter and the epilogue isn't that difficult for me, because the beginning and the ending of the story are what I plan first thing when working on it. Mas challenging para sa akin na isulat ang chapters in between the first and the last, dahil kailangan kong makaisip ng paraan kung paano maikokonekta ang simula at wakas ng kwento na pinlano ko.

6. If you can bring one of your characters to life, who will it be and why?

Probably Sebastian Silvera from "Wedding, Interrupted". He's my ideal man! Kung pwede lang na makabili ng isang Seb sa grocery, malamang ay matagal ko nang ginawa.

7. Among your characters, who's the closest to you? Why?

Mira Custodio from "My Boss is a Freak", my first-ever story. Sa kanya ko kasi pinakanakikita ang sarili ko. Probably because she's the first protagonist I created, kaya marami akong qualities na intentionally or unintentionally man ay naipasa sa kanya.

8. If you could collaborate with any author (local man or international), who would it be and why?

This is next to impossible, but it would be the highlight of my life if I could collaborate with Sophie Kinsella. She's my favorite author, and the reason why rom-com is my main genre.

9. Anong famous story (be it classic or contemporary Literature) ang hinihiling mong ikaw ang nakapagsulat? Bakit?

The Giver by Lois Lowry. It's such a wisely-written story, and it made a lasting impact to me as a reader.

10. What are your future plans in your writing career?

Honestly? I don't have a plan apart from finishing all my ongoing stories. Any opportunity that comes my way will be a bonus. I'll just keep on creating stories for as long as I can.
