THE NEXT MORNING
Athiee woke up to the sound of her father calling her. "Come on, Ath! You're going to be late again, sweetie!" he shouted while he was putting on his shoes, getting ready to head out for work. A few minutes passed until he heard footsteps behind him.
"Have a good day, Dad. Fighting!" Athiee said as she hugged her father. Despite being the CEO of a new company and having a lot of work to do, her father always prioritizes Athiee above anything else and tries to give his best for her, which is why she is grateful to him. "At least he cares," she thought to herself. He kissed her forehead and left, leaving Athiee alone to get ready for school.
Athiee rushed to her classroom, eager to get there early and find a good spot to sit. As she sat at her desk waiting for the class to start, she took out her earphones and started listening to some music to pass the time. Suddenly, she heard screams coming from outside her classroom followed by the sound of students pushing and shoving each other to get a closer look. She hesitated for a moment, wondering what was happening, but her curiosity got the better of her, and she cautiously made her way to the door to see what all the commotion was about.
A handsome young man just walked in. He has striking looks, a well-proportioned figure, and perfectly shaped facial features. His cologne exudes a sense of masculinity that is hard to resist. His captivating presence can make any girl fall for him instantly. The person who walked in was none other than Hwang Hyunjin.
He made his way through the crowd, heading straight to meet up with his popular gang of friends: Felix, Seungmin, Changbin, Chan, and Hyunjin. Felix, Seungmin, and Changbin were already seated in their usual spots, waiting for Chan and Hyunjin to arrive.
When Hyunjin walked in, he greeted his friends with a smile. "Ah, what a great start to begin with," he said, referring to all the fangirling that had happened earlier.
Seungmin, who was reading a book, replied, "Stop being an attention seeker, Hyunjin." Hyunjin laughed and retorted, "I am not. I don't seek attention. Attention seeks me, babe." Seungmin looked at him with disgust.
Changbin, fed up with Chan's constant tardiness, asked, "What's taking that Australian kangaroo so long?" Felix smirked and replied, "It's nothing new. He loves coming late to see all his fans." Changbin muttered, "That jerk..."
After waiting for ten minutes, the gang decided to grab some coffee and snacks. Hyunjin, Seungmin, and Changbin were all classmates, while Felix and Chan were in a different class. Felix had to go to class, so he decided not to wait any longer for Chan, who was always late.
As Felix walked into class, he noticed all the girls looking at him. It was nothing new to him. He scanned the room and saw Athiee lost in her thoughts, looking out of the window. A smirk formed on his lips. It was time to enjoy something! he thought. Athiee sat silently until she felt her earphones being taken away
"What the!" she lifted her head to see Felix playing with her earphones. He placed them in his ears and immediately took them out, making a disgusted expression.
"Ugh, who even listens to this nowadays?" Felix said, throwing his earphones at Athiee before sitting down at his desk, which was positioned in front of hers. Athiee couldn't help but wonder why she was putting up with his rude behavior.
