After the crisis hit, Felix's family faced a huge loss in profits and management. The sudden withdrawal of many investors shook the general state of the company, directly impacting its growth, and most importantly, its credibility among rising companies.
"We're facing such a crisis and he's sleeping comfortably!? Unbelievable!" The voice of the old man was heard over the hall, all the way to Felix's room. Felix didn't bat an eye and sat silently in his place, deeply engaging with his inner thoughts.
"How did this happen?" He exclaimed, rethinking everything from the start. His family started new in the business, and their company showcased an encouraging estimated profit and growth. Felix worked day and night to get the best investments and investors in the industry and thanks to his cunning mind, he succeeded in doing so. However, things aren't meant to go well all the time. Something happened that caused their investors to retreat one by one, damaging the company's balance. A rough sigh escaped his lips, his hand massaging his forehead. Felix was tired of thinking for the first time. The only words that came out of his mouth were "Curse them," directed towards the investors.
"We'll figure out what's happening soon and I'll fix everything, Father. You needn't worry," Felix uttered, assuring his father.
"We'd better move quickly if we want to save the company. We can't afford to get damaged any further," his father spoke, making the other nod.
"Our company can't get damaged any further! Or Felix! Do something about that! ... I'm sure he'll say something like that,"
Hyorine said to Zack who sighed and walked to her, then sat on her desk.
"Don't provoke someone then expect them not to show any kind of reaction. You know, they say something similar in physics: every action has-"
"A reaction. I know," she interrupted his words. "I'm not complaining though. That's what I wanted to happen." She smiled and added
"As much as he tries, it's impossible to save a ship from sinking when the ship isn't prepared to sail properly in the first place. Felix's company is done for, no matter how hard he works," she explained while Zack listened.
"Losing investors is a company's nightmare," uttered Zack.
"Exactly. Who knows that better than us ?" she added.
"Recovering from this blow will take time, and Felix must work up wonders if he wishes to save the company," Hyorine declared. "In most similar cases, the company owners seek help from their connections to avoid damaging the company," Zack announced. Hyorine smiled at his words and said
"Yeah, but Felix's connections are no longer available to help him. One is not even here anymore, the other comes from an influential family but has nothing under his control. Plus, he is busy spending time with his fiance who happens to be the girl whom Felix loves desperately. His friends aren't fit to help themselves, let alone help him," she laughed.
"I'll have my time watching him trying his best. After all, he helped founding the company only to prove his capability and worth to his beloved lover's father. How romantic," she uttered
