The memory of their conversation sent chills down his spine. What was Changbin hiding? What was he not telling him? The unanswered questions weighed heavily on his mind. Hyunjin opened his eyes, gazing at the road ahead.

Arriving at the Hwang mansion, Hyunjin walked with quick steps, avoiding contact with servants that came his way.

"Young master, dinner is served-"

"I won't have anything. Don't disturb me," uttered the young man who entered his room and shut the door closed behind him. The old servant gazed at the door before taking his steps away, towards the dining room, where Mr. Hwang was sitting.

"The young master won't have anything for dinner. He unfortunately refused to join you," the servant uttered to the old man who was calmly sipping the red wine from his glass. "No dinner for tonight?" Mr. Hwang declared without looking at his servant. "Should I go and bring him, Sir?" his servant suggested.

"Let it be. Instead, tell me how's my son's condition," he asked.

"He seemed very focused and distressed. Without even looking at me, he headed straight to his room." the servant described while Mr. Hwang listened carefully. A sly smirk graced his lips as he learned that Hyunjin looked concerned.

"Did you check his whereabouts?"

"As per discussed, He went to the W&J company this morning, then came back straight home," The servant explained.

"When it comes to Hyunjin, he isn't easy to fool or to impress. Even as his father, It's hard for me to make him interested in something even if I wanted to. I have to think and prepare for it to make him agree or take an interest,"

"But that girl seems to be able to do it somehow," Mr. Hwang uttered, his smirk getting bigger and wider. "Good, very good..." He mumbled then looked away in satisfaction. "Seeing how she refused my offer, I knew she wouldn't disappoint me,".

He lifted his glass and gazed at the redness of the wine, his eyes reflecting the excitement and the rush he got. His servant silently observed him, wondering when was the last time he witnessed such a concerning evil look in that old man's eyes.

"Wang Hyorine, I'll bet on you, so don't disappoint me," He uttered mysteriously.
